So we have this number, 1991. On January 1st 1991, Czechoslovakia abandoned it's command economy. Bohemia Interactive is based in The Czech Republic. In order to celebrate 22 years with the free market system, Bohemia is going to release DayZ. It is really quite obvious that this is their plan.. Just look at Rocket's last tweet. Just read some people never realised Day Z the Z meant Zombie, fuck fellas want to buy some Land on the Moon I'm selling ? Release the Alpha when all is ready, what's the point of the chosen few ( mostly Mods go figure ) Testing the game if they are then going to have CORE yes fucking CORE features missing like working ZOMBIES with a Zed. The same way patient zero refers to the host of the epidemic. Dean has said numerous times that he regards the "zombies" as infected, even going so far as to discussing the plausibility of such an outbreak with his brother the virologist. I sincerely doubt he'd have dubbed the game something as juvenile as DayZombie.. I hope he wouldn't be that lame anyway... This has all the makings of a great game and they finally have the team together to bring it to fruition. So you Live with it I just think everyone needs to realize that this "new" game wont be so amazing as they think and that they need to respect that its an alpha with the content they throw in.It wont be much and it wont be the next big thing. Its going to be Dayz as we know it. same map with some new looks, some new textures and features. In my mind i cant understand why they would want to release an alpha for any other reason besides getting some money for their team.The big question is, will it bite them in the behind or will they actually surprise us? Both looked to behavior-changing viruses as a real possibility. Rabies, for one, and obscure diseases covered by National Geographic which, if mutated, would change an animal drastically. In the Brazilian rainforest carpenter ants have been found infected with a fungus that manipulates their brain and puts them in a zombie-like state.
