I did a journey through the very most northern part of Chernarus. I found a train station and roads but there weren't many buildings yet. It looked odd.

And they made a movie out of it?

What is this movie about?? I want to know. So lets make a story. I'll start. Our main character, Vasily Degtyaryov is an elite warrior of the Spetnaz GRU. He leads his team consisting of Boris Ventrogov, Grigory Polikarpov, Ivan Krivshenkco, and finally their marksman Yefim Ivanov. They are veterans of the the 1990's Chechen wars and other covert operations. The year is 1999 and now they have to go back. Ambassador Daniil Shapagin has been kidnapped by Chechens and taken to the old abondoned Gulag, Kolgujev. ​The plan is to infiltrate the gulag covertly and lower the defenses, and then let the VDV come in and rescue the ambassador and kill the terrorists. The gulag is deep in a dense forest in the mountains. The squad lands covertly 3 k.m. away from the gulag. Dense forest and mountains lie between them and their goal. but soon, things start to go wrong... Post what happens next!!

Makarov, TT-33, and the M1985 should be top priority for new weapons. After that we needs some Kalashnikovs The CDF and ChDKZ definitely exist in DayZ lore. You can see recruiting billboards for the CDF in towns and cities in the south predominately Chernarussian ethnic areas . the ChDKZ have billboards in some of the northern towns (predominately Russian ethnic areas). EDIT: The TTsKO camouflage is very similar to CDF uniforms While I have absolutely no problem with the current guns, some eastern weaponry should be added now. But guns should be a relatively low priority until the big issues are fixed.

Is KoS really an issue? Yesterday, I ran into 6-8 people I didn't know (in the area north of Berezino). all but two had guns and no one shot at me or was aggro. Maybe I am an exception. Note it was a first person server. Everyone had a healthy amount of fear for their life, but no one started shooting or charging headlong into gunfire with an ax. Everyone I met was friendly. I guess I am pretty good at avoiding bandits. I have seen some people you seemed like bandits, but I saw them first and avoided them. I don't think any morality system is necessary.

This doesn't sound like a cheater at all. you spawned in, your body appeared (as it is supposed to) before you could see. Some guy shot you and your defenseless buddies for free loot. You can't blame anyone but yourself. Don't log out in area another person could be and then change server and login in another area someone could be. It is recipe for rage.

The people I have met have been mostly friendly. You mileage may vary ! Part of the game. If you see someone running gun drawn, they probably aren't nice and are nervous. Someone with a gun shoulder is likely less nervous and may be more inclined to talking. As for the stupid ax bandits, the are just silly people who like to live fast and leave a good looking corpse. Avoid at all cost! Earlier today some goof killed a M4 armed guy I was talking too. The M4 guy was neutral but this ax bandit hacked him down right before my eyes. The idiot! Then he tried to loot the corpse as if I wouldn't care! I blasted the scum.

I agree. Only been attacked once by a guy with an ax. I have Seen people in the distance with guns and avoided them. People with guns have come to me and didn't shoot me. I had a gun and saw a guy with a gun. We didn't shoot each other, but sadly some ax guy ambushed him. So I killed the ax guy. KoS seems less prominent than the mod, due to the new inventory/robbing system. Seems good to me :thumbsup:

A simple thing that the server browser needs. Time settings. Not necessarily what time the server is but rather the time zone the server is set in and if the server is 24/7 or 24/7 day. I am someone who like the 24 hour cycle of Arma based games. Also, I don't want to play on 24/7 day servers. So I hope this can be added to the server browser soon :)

False. I have met players and given them stuff for free. KoS is lame. If you don't trust someone, just give them some space and leave and everyone wins. Plus if you kill someone for food, you will destroy the food with your bullets.
