Well it seems we won't have any new content in this update :/ well here's to bugfixers !!! And tech !!! I will be on with my two buddies as soon as we all get together in real life, dudester, bill, Tatanko , IMT , anyone who wants or wanted to experiment , let's get something going in the next few hours !

I might be on ~7 or 8 hours from now when I'm done with my adult-ly responsibilities. Can't play much this week :(

I've been wearing the police style looking uniform hat ( soviet officer I believe ) but I try to run around with my jacket off most of the time when space allows. Heat usually isn't an issue this way. I try to jog when I can but it just takes too long to get to where I need to go heh. I usually have a gas mask on as well, which I'm sure causes some heat issues, but I love it too much to take it off. Reckon I'll try running around with no lid.

 

There is one server up atm: UK-0-3. Well it was up, not seeing it right now. Only had 1 person in it.

Old pic, but the police gear was one of my favorite looks.  I patroled Prison Island for a few days murdering everyone I could (stable) a while back.  Fun.  Until someone hopped in behind me and ended my tyranny.

Yup.

 

Some people might have avoided the character wipe somehow maybe....

 

I have a new 1 PP character.

 

I found quite a bit of loot after spawning in Svetlo but no food, ammo, or infected.

 

The loot seemed to be well dispersed and I saw no obvious piles.

 

Only about 10 minutes in and I got the server stopping message too.

 

I'm stepping out in the heat to do some adulting but will be back soon.

 

I hope all goes smooth while gone.

 

The patch ran well while I had a server to play on and some obvious inventory bugginess was squashed it seems.

One of the reasons you guys may have gotten wiped is because you logged on before the hive had been fully sorted out.. seeing as they put the servers up and pulled them down shortly after, characters may still be on the hive... I'm interested to hear from others if there were wipes or not, after exp comes back up.

I'm going to venture a guess that not all the Exp servers are reconnected to the hive just yet, which falls in line with what Hicks said just a bit ago.

4 hours to go and then I hit the 500 milestone.

Awesome. Did you see the magnum there? Too bad it'll be gone today. I'll swing through there next time, with paper and pen and whatever extra goodies I pick up if you plan on continuing using that spot. Do you use the same name in game? I change mine regularly when bored but use "SepticTank" at the moment.

 

 

indeed, i found the magnum and the quickloader before your post today and was very confused because i couldn´t remember that i had put it in  :blush:

 

EDIT: yep, ingame name is the same like here wasnu and i love these spot. fyi this miltent is only one of 3 "bait" tents and mostly filled with nothing usefull to let thiefs think they found a big present and walk away.

my proper base is near that tent but its much better hidden :)

This can be a good idea when a lot of pumps will be removed. There's far too many anyway.

While this may be true there are entire villages without one single outhouse.  Gross.
