nice update,

but one thing really bothers me:

this makes it almost impossible to retrieve your gear after dying far away from the cost.

also, findig corpses is on of my favourite aspects of exploring :(

I'm sure it's set at 10mins at this stage due to server performance once more optimization has taken place it may change.

Sounds awesome! <3

Can't wait to get my hands on all these nice new things. ;)

Even though i am not a huge fan of sub-hives/private hives at that stage of the game. (Not that i am a fan of it after all, cause i fear a big community split, but i think it should have gotten a lower priority)

Non-the-less , keep the good work up. Beans for you guys!

Edith says: Please delay the stable release, don't want to spend my b-day infront of the pc. xD

Dear god... Is it the 24th yet? And I'm not sure about lowering m4 spawns... Took one of my clan mates on a search for an M4 yesterday and today that spanned 2 days, and 3 restarts over 12 hours (not actually played hours) each day... We just finally found one this morning after searching 3 military bases, and 2 airfields.

I'm wondering if this is being done to help with optimization? o.O

also, findig corpses is one of the most important aspects of exploring imho  :(

You aren't supposed to be able to find your corpse every time lol, I'm glad they made it that short because I wont be able to retrieve all my gear in time thus extending my play time.

So when do we expect to see zombie improvements in behaviour and numbers?

Just watching streams as I’ve got a 2004 PC. New rig later this year.

If you are in a fire fight and get badly shot and killed then yes I can see a weapon could be hit and damaged but when first looted not on a player I just cant understand why they would be so badly damaged most of the time.

the gun you find on the ground has a story and a history - even if it was just spawned in.

if you use your imagination, ask yourself these questions:

How did it end up on the ground in a building? abandoned because it was broken? dropped when the guy ran out of ammo?

How did it's previous owner die? Zombies? bandits?

How long has it been sitting there in the elements? weeks, years?

do you still wonder why abandoned guns aren't all pristine?

Great! As it should be imo.

You die, you more than likely lose your gear unless gathered by squad mates or whatever, brilliant news imo and should help with performance too.

I always try to treat each character as a new entity and not just run back to my previous body, seems a bit cheap to me.

Anyway, great looking update Rocket, look forward to testing, there are some nice looking fixes and additions coming our way.

Love the idea of spray-painting, I wonder if it will be one solid colour or can you mix colours to make say a camo paint job.

So if you mixed green, grey, brown and black you could make a woodland camo

Or if you mixed grey, black and white to make a snow camo

Sounds like an awesome update. Looking forward to see all the new items and check out Svetloyarsk.

Somewhat curious what colour choices of spraypaint there are. :D

Thank's for the hard work guys. Can't wait to test this out on monday.

As far as sub-private hives are concerned.... how much admin control and server file control is going to be handed out?

Hope this isn't something that signals the death knell to the public hives.
