Hello my name is Zoey. I am a transgendered individual and a proud video gamer since 1995. I am a very passionate zombiest and have been a major supporter of DayZ since it came to light a while back.
I am a major metal head and a LGBT advocate, so don't be shy, come by and say hai! =D

    What Do? "End-game"

PVP right now is the big thing to do. Over time when more and more gets added to the game it will change up. I'm trying to come up with challenges right now like surviving hordes of zombie on a hardcore server at night with a limited amount of ammo using only a lantern in the middle of a major town.

What's the current hacking status like in DayZ:SA?

Welp its there alright, not as common for some, too frequent for others. I myself was on the experimental build today (the one with the 170 mb patch and no patch notes that came out) on one of the accelerated time testing servers and had a gentlemen basically, hopping towards me until he was in front of me to punch me out. He didn't kill me, I got up and moved on but it is there. Now does that mean I'm going to get all worked up about it? nah, just going to move with the flow. Wish I had recorded this though. :/ Edit: An additional thought. While hacking is in the game of course, it is nowhere near the level that it was in the DayZ mod or (dare I say it) the level to which Infestations has and has had. And for me that is something that has not made me worried with my experience in the Stand Alone. Because its just not so common as it seemed in the past. Still it is an issue, something that can't exactly be dealt with 100% but it is an issue that can handled and managed to a degree that it does not completely ruin the game to a level as bad as infestations.
  3. I feel like its slightly too fast but at the same time I understand the challenge here. My thought would be to mix it up, have some fast zombies, have some slow zombies, mix it up a bit. For a basic respawn mechanic it works but as the game evolves I believe it should be developed (and if I remeber correctly this has been mentioned by devs) that the zombies won't respawn in front of our very eyes rather out of sight. Additionaly thoughts include further and new sounds, crawling zombies, additional dangers of facing zombies, etc but that stuff should come later.

Do you think Zombies should be headshots only?

Why thank you for that statement but the fact still remains that zombies are way too weak right now. Because let's face it, at some point, the devs are going to turn around and bring them back into focus as a threat and not some mere annoyance in the game. They make up a major aspect of this game, and and it will be more then amusing when folks who sit here for the PVP galore get a wake up call to the PVE of the game via Undead, or other threats. :) And who says its a zombie survival horror mmo btw? I do, because it does have zombies, it does have a major focus on survival, and the horrors that you and I have faced through this game is there. So yeah. See ya :D

Do you think Zombies should be headshots only?

It should be head shots kill but it should take more body shots to kill. Right now being able to one hit kill with any major weapon for the most part is making them way too weak. After-all this is a Zombie survival horror mmo :)

I say this now, all the crap that people were giving Dean earlier today such as stuff not being done just yet and him leaving. You really think he's going to just walk off? No this guy as this video shows, is dedicated. But its cool, you don't have to believe it. Just wait and see.

Rocket standing down from Dayz by end of year

"The alpha phase usually ends with a feature freeze, indicating that no more features will be added to the software. At this time, the software is said to be feature complete." ~ Software Development Cycle WHICH MEANS, we have all these features coming during these phase. Already we have major security vulnerbalites fixed, weapons being added every few weeks, minor optmizations, new towns and areas, further function interactions, larger servers on the way, as well as more zombies, with vehicales, base building and more on the way. Also take the time to read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle Then, explain to me how he's running off with the money when BI is the one that owns the game, he doesn't make that much money off this, he is a consultant, is staying through, even longer if needed to make sure the game goes in the right direction, while also working hard with a dev team that has been doing a good job of working on this game to the best of it's limitations. Especially when you consider the fact that Dean is actually making a wise move to back off on the game once its reached the point of no longer needing him. The game is not just succesful because of him alone, it is because he and a dev team and a company worked together to help make this game from the basis of the mod he created. As far as I can tell, he's helping out and slowly letting go of the bike with training wheels because the little one is growing up and doesn't need much longer. And finally to this point, if it really bothers you that much and you don't want to take the time and effort to read his thoughts over the past few months as well as attempt to follow the information that most of us have been doing through the development of this game, then I would recommend walking away from the game, go find something else and move on.

Rocket standing down from Dayz by end of year

See the problem is most people here still think for some reason that the Alpha is the final product of the game and claim it to be a buggy unpolished mess. It's not and Dean not leaving till it gets to Beta which is at the end of this year. And even still if he is needed, he will stay until he is no longer needed. Once you understand that this is alpha, then you will understand that this is the skeleton and main part of where the main features and important aspects get added to the game. Beta is for testing out issues and dealing with optimization which Dean more then likely won't be needed for and the people he leaves to work on this have already shown to us that they can keep this game going, and have the right concept for it. TL:DR? No, you need to take the time to read because you failed to read the Alpha disclaimer.

Have you/have you not seen a hacker?

I've been playing since release day and to this date I have not once seen a hacker, or die at the hands of a hacker.

I only want to play with rain, solution ?

This is funny because I have yet to find a server where I can even enjoy rain :< And yes I have been avoiding all of those 24/7 daylight servers >:(
  11. I have no idea what you are talking about! *turns away with a bloody axe on her shoulder and a survivor head in her other hand while whistling*

    The svetloyarsk community

I would sign up to be this man second in command but something tells me I might regrett it at a later time when I start seeing him go downhill with malicious and dangerous actions and behaviors....>.>
  13. I think so, because I noticed a better increase in frame rate as well :D
  14. Moving on, I very much enjoy the clapping animation, and all the uses it can bring to the table. Such as clapping at your friend as he accidently shoots off his gun and summons every zombie in town. And I get the feeling I'm going to be doing Hulk Hogan pointing screaming YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU at someone xD
