Books, bows, and tanning
Weyland Yutani (DayZ) replied to JohnnyLongShovel's topic in General Discussion
No, they didn't. I think it was a stream with Raptor, ImpulZ, and Baty I'm referencing....could be wrong, hard to remember. I'm only guessing on the Q4 based on past performance and what's left, not implying. In my observations with vehicle sync, I'm not 100% sure it's server related...I think it's a variety of issues. Also, I'm not sure the devs are being truthful 110% of the time. With the way they get treated by the public so poorly, I can't imagine they would tell everyone the truth all the time. Consumer outrage echo-chamber is at an all time high. Back to vehicle sync and personal observations, in Chernarus there are (or where, I only play Livonia now) these dead zones in specific parts of the map that have been present for a very very long time (years). There is one before you go around the bend near Skalisty (near the crashed bus and body pile), one somewhere after the tracks on that curve on the last stretch to Svetlo, another on the southern road to Dubrovka or Vyshnaya Dubrovka (I forget which it was), etc. There are more, but those come to mind. Every single time I would drive in those spots over a certain speed, the vehicle sync would freeze. If you went too fast, you would end up wrecked in a tree. After an update or hotfix (can't remember which or when), instead of the vehicle freezing, it would stutter lag and you could drive through it better. Thats not server performance/stability related because it's the same dang spots over and over. I don't know enough about development to know if it's a navmesh, map design issue (sorry if either of those sounds stupid), or what but those spots were legit dead zones. These observations are on my servers and there was no bases, players, or anything in those area's Also, I've tested a lot of vehicles and I notice differences between them. Some modded (and stock) vehicles bounce more than others and when they bounce too much, they seemed more inclined to catapult into the air. If you log out (and/or quit the game) and come back in, they're usually fine. Is that server, client, vehicle, or modded vehicle related? Why are some shitty modded vehicles doing this when others are not...consistently? Server issue or design flaw (?) and with vehicle sync issues, you get a mixed bag of symptoms and players can easily misinterpret the results. Servers always get blamed first and I'm sure the devs get their share of that as well. A lot of these car issues are players driving at high speeds. I rarely drive out of 2nd or 3rd gear and never have issues, but I don't drive much so there's that too. Arma is a totally different and less complex engine, they also didn't develop an entirely new engine during the first few months of EA, with a full team from the jump not ~12 devs like DayZ started with. Arma has like practically zero floating assets in their maps. The rooms are empty, no beds, tables, etc. The environments are sterile asset wise. Also, Arma 3 has been a legit 1.0 release for almost 7 years. DayZ isn't even really a 1.0 release, but more like Beta. Ask some Arma 3 players what Beta and earlier was like and they'll tell you the vehicles behaved like shit. DayZ Expansion has Aerial vehicles working, I'm pretty sure Bohemia Interactive can cover that ground as well. BI gets a lot of flak, but they're most definitely very talented and full time employee's. In my post here... ...I listed many key missing elements in that topic and there really isn't a lot of big ticket items left. Core development will probably leak into 2021, maybe I'm wrong but 2022-2023 is a big stretch to achieve those goals. -

I'm looking forward to the game's new features in 2020. I wanted to ask that at least the vehicles be stable. Waiting for news ...

Aerial vehicles and bows? Q4 2021? 2022? 2023? Maybe. This year? No way (bookmark me).

Your argument doesn't make sense and thats why the guy probably thinks you are doing something else rather than just providing feedback to a suggestion. How does a fence with a camo net would be a better or even a good way to hide a car in a forest? Is even geometrically stupid. You would only hide the vehicle from one angle of view and you limit yourself to the - not so flexible - positioning system of fences that would force you to do it in a quite open and flat area. A simple Camo net as an attachements for vehicles plus the addition of a camo coverage model (just like with tents) wouldn't represent an immense amount of work either. Vehicles currently have peristence issues and in many cases they just disappear or move to a random position when you leave them inside a structure or between two trees. Tents are too heavy/big to transport to a remote location and its positioning is very restrictive according to the surface in the forest (people just don´t hide tents in the forest anymore for that reason). The bases (basebuilding structures) are just not worth it because of their lack of balance as you well know. Most people simply hide loot in wooden crates around the map, inside glitches or under trees. That storage item is extremely OP and it's been breaking the CLE and eliminating any possibility of obtaining high tier weapons because the max caps are reached. Allowing alternative, efficient and realistic methods to hide things that are not as OP/broken as the wooden crates would definetly help the game in many ways right now. I don't think that's a trivial suggestion. On the other hand, if you expect every suggestion to be aligned with the "priority list" that you think the devs should have (List that we don't know about because there is no roadmap and the communication is almost null since one year) then you'll probably have to repeat your reasoning in each and every suggestion thread.

Books, bows, and tanning
Weyland Yutani (DayZ) replied to JohnnyLongShovel's topic in General Discussion
During a live stream they said bows would come at the very end of development due to the advanced physics and problems with dsync. I expect bows around the same time as aerial vehicles so don't expect them anytime soon. Q4 perhaps... -
Well, here we are in 2020 and I'm sure I speak for everyone here about being curious on what's left development wise. Since we don't have a current roadmap *sigh*, I'll be covering features not present that were mentioned in previous roadmaps and put the pieces on the board the best I can. GUNS Handguns Derringer Flare Gun Longhorn Mauser Python Walter P1 Rifles AUG MP-133 Repeater 22 Sporter Trumpet SMG PM-73 RAK MELEE Bow('s) Broom Canoe Paddle Cattleprod Chainsaw Cleaver Farming Hoe Field Shovel Fire Extinguisher Hockey Stick Mace Pitchfork Pipe Wrench Sickle Spear Sword Telescopic Baton PAST ROADMAP Dragging unconscious / bodies Advanced Barricading Advanced Vehicles (Bicycle, Motorcycles, ATV, Boats, Helicopters, Planes) Better UI support for trading Upgradable components World Containers (Refrigerator, Oven, Cupboards, Wardrobe) Database interaction API for developers Steam Achievements Physics Animal Companions (Dogs, Horses) PROMISED Improved Steam Launcher Character Customization Underground Bases I'm sure I missed lot of things here so feel free to chime in and I'll make an edit. For certain, medical, diseases, and overall softskills most certainly aren't finished. Hard to remember everything, but it looks like they're pretty close to finishing based on what was promised and what was taken out. As far as new features, I can't comment on that. Light machine guns, explosive weapons (RPG, LAW, etc), Dart Guns, Taser (Shock Pistol), and more vehicles (Bus, V3S, Moped, etc) are coming somehwere down the line. Are there any new plans? Will we get everything above? Will DayZ be complete by the end of 2020?

Given the current state of vehicles and their propensity to lag into static objects, this is long overdue...

A new roadmap 2020? Really looking forward to this. Aside from bugfixing i am really curious what they are going to do about the following topics: 1. Aviation 2. Two-Wheeled Vehicles (and other vehicle related issues) 3. Basebuilding We got walls, floors, gates and towers. I really wouldn't mind a wall with a simple door or window - shouldn't that be easy to convert by using the gate mechanics? (just assuming here, but kinda sounds possible, right?). And the tent issues have already been touched - a simple suggestion would be that "burn tent" interaction from the Arma2 DayZmod (or "destroy" with a knife for my sake). Just to resolve the path blocking issue...

I'm often baffled how much some people defend the game, but perhaps that's why, that some people don't have these issues. I can't play for more than about a half hour before I run into one bug or another and only dream of playing without the problems. Last base I tried building was on a private server and we had 4 tents in a hangar, a fence and gate across the opening, and 4 cars inside. We had a ton of inventory and were about to get experimenting with building a better base. One day we logged on to find 1 car had just vanished along with all the gear in it. We set off in another car figuring we had cars so no big deal, and on driving out the base it immediately de-sync'd flipped all over the place and smashed itself up. It ended up on its side, couldn't get any inventory out, and it killed 2 of our team in the process. We took another car to pick the dead guys up, only for the 3rd car to de-sync on the way back, killing one guy and leaving the rest stranded miles from base. I was down to half health and ended up fighting a bunch of zombies which I killed. I however was down to about a quarter health and was cut, and suddenly I couldnt use the bandages, rags, or blood bag I had on me. I bled out and the team was down to two because of this series of bugs. By that time we'd all had enough and gave up, the 4 of us haven't played together since, and this was on a private server, so in theory should have been less problematic. I logged back on about a week later and trekked back to base to find our last car gone, all generators and lights gone, and yet more inventory boxes we had full of loot with lots of the gear that we couldn't get out, even with a server restart. There used to be 4 or 5 friends that I would play with regularly. None of them play anymore due to being sick of the bugs, so I do find it hard to defend the state of the game personally. The style of the game means to build bases and get cars, even as a team, is a considerable time investment, especially when you have limited time and only play maybe 2 or 3 times a week. When the game basically just kills you through bugs and randomly deletes your loot, it does really wind you up. Was it your server? Also if you know how badly the vehicles are bugged, why take the time to build four? If you were having such bad luck with the vehicles why keep taking them out? Also the style of the game is to survive, not to build bases. If you think about it, when the game was just a mod it was about the adventures of that ONE character. After he/she dies new character, new story, new adventure. The base building is a new thing for them as devs/modders. So yes im sure as soon as a professional developer steps in to help, the game will get better. As for the food situation you talk about for livonia im taking it you didnt read up on the way the map was built. The were very blunt about how it WILL be harder to survive on this map due to the harsh weather and how there WILL be a lack of food. You will have to survive off the land more then finding food on the infected and insides of houses. It was all in the release trailer and in the patch notes. Also pro survival tip if you have a axe use it to chop down trees that look like fruit trees, it will have a very rare random chance of dropping fruits. As for everyone else's problems like game crashing ect... I rarely get that issue. Maybe bad internet connection. What gen console are you using? The game was made for the Xbox One X and a SSD drive. Best was to play the game. The desync of items can be fixed or not seeing dropped items by just having everyone in your crew/team/party to backout and rejoin server. Yea it suck, yea should be fixed but thats the solution for right now. Trust me, me and my squad hate doing it because we always in a high pop server and get stuck in a high queue. I have noticed though, the bigger your sqaud, the worse the bugs are. The cars we know are shit so I dont waste time on them, you shouldn't either.
-
Not sure what you mean by cycle. IME, if you see loot that you don't pick up and then come back to that same place, chances are other items will now be there. If you mean the maximum number of particular items that spawn on a server, I believe that is a set number on the server and will only reset if wiped. ......from what I understand. I actually wiped my own server recently but forgot to set the whitelist tick box. I came in to find several strangers on. At first I thought all was well but then found that they had taken cars we found and other stored goods we had in just a matter of a couple days. Pretty productive considering none of the vehicles were drivable yet. I started wondering how much they may have already stored of their own so I wiped the server again and locked it so we can start over again for fear they buried good loot that would make it more scarce on our server

Come one, come all! We have a heavily modified server hand-crafted so not a lot of junk, lying around. This is not a typical PvP setup. You will have to do a little work, but you will find a lot of Hummvee\Land Rover Defender and truck spawns to haul around your crew and loot. Base building is default, but base destruction will take over an hour to get inside. Double or triple wall your stash and you are fine. Or just use one of the many vehicles as a base, your choice. Come into our Discord if you need assistance with any of the keybindings for any of the mods we use. We are glad to help. I'm XCITE, I'm the admin and I invite you to come check us out. I am the only admin of the server. The Misfits are a group of 25+ Years and older gamers and we have been around since early 2014.

Glad to see youre dedicated to squashing this bug that has been reoccuring for more than 4 years... wait didnt the new engine promise to cut out all these bugs and make patching and iterating new features easier? sure doesnt seem that way to me. I love this game , and i play it far more than all the weekend warriors here (10k hours between the standalone and the mod) but i hate to see it mismanaged like this. You can fool all the new people into thinking youre a well oiled machine , but to someone like me whos been a day one fan boy i only see more disappointing long breaks with incredibly frustrating bugs that shouldnt be present in a ("finished") 1.0 game. I will continue to play , but if we dont see soft skills , barricading , aerial vehicles and all the huge talking points that we invested in your game for by 2020 , then all faith in you will be lost : at least by the vets and day ones ... you will keep your new console crowd , but what are they worth when they are content to just shoot eachother on the coast until this game is shut down? If anyone remembers promises of picking up your pilot friend to fly your heli to your medic friend so he can perform surgery on your electrical engineer buddy whilst avoiding hordes of zombies and contaminated zones. then dont let these devs constantly drag their feet and lets instead, push for something greater than this mess we have now; as what we have now is nothing but another shallow PVP deathmatch with a lot of fluffy survival things added on top. We need soft skills to create a player economy, we need aerial vehicles because this was the heart of the dayz mods vehicle heirarchy , and we need hordes of zombies (although we are getting close on that one i will say), and ; lastly we need these random legacy bugs to be quashed that this team cant seem to get rid of despite being on the new holy grail of engines which devs constantly touted was going to solve so many of their engine issues.....

Why aren't all resources being alloted to vehicles
drgullen replied to robbyj's topic in General Discussion
Hopefully, this 2020 road map they recently spoke about that we'll get sometime in January will address the future of cars and other vehicles. I somehow doubt we're ever going to get helis or bikes now -- I was hopeful in the past, but now I'm skeptical -- it'll have to come from mods probably. As for cars, the issue is the server performance and not the car itself, but until they properly utilize multi-cores on the server or change it such that cars are handled client-side rather than server-side, poor-running servers are going to mean poor-running cars unfortunately.- 1 reply

DayZ boasts it's huge map as a pro. Yet the only feasible way to travel is by foot. No one plays this game to break their W and Shift key. Why aren't developers racing to fix cars and add other methods of transportation such as bikes and helicopters?

I'll throw my two cents in on vehicles and my own experiences..... I want to point out that I rent my own 10 space server that currently, just my friend and I use. Two people at most are on but sometimes just one of us will occupy it. Frst, I need to point out that before one of the hotfixes that came after 1.05, I had the same issues as many others where I couldn't drive above 20KPH without risk of crashing from long "lag spikes". However, after one of the patches they released, my performance in this regard had suddenly improved. It was a night and day difference. Ever since that time, I'm only really limited by the conditions and physical characteristics of the road. I actually have to slow down for turns, through narrow passages, etc. to ensure I don't wreck. Lag events are typically measured in fractions of a second rather than several seconds as they once were. A couple things I think I should note: 1) My friend's situation never changed. He still experiences the same lag as he did before. 2) Inventory has no effect on lag events for us. Empty or full, it's still an issue. 3) I have to drive in first person. If I drive in third person, the lag is much worse but still not as bad as it once was. I tried this back when lag was bad for me and 1st person didn't really help. .....now it does. 4) We are both running on original PS4s except that I have my game installed and running from an external Samsung Evo 1TB SSD. I've had this SSD since I bought DayZ on release day. .....no change there. 5) I still need to slow down through towns, etc. as I once did as events are more likely to happen there and there duration (while brief) can still cause a crash if you're not careful. ....but nowhere near as bad as it once was and I can maintain speeds quite a bit higher than I did. I honestly don't know what changed in that patch that made a difference for me. For now, I do most of the driving when we play together. We still have bad days however when it seems the server acts up (e.g. bouncing cars, teleporting, excessive rubber banding, more lag events, etc.). I would love to know what changed and why my game improved in this regard as it may be the answer to why some of us have the problem. I made no changes on my end but something they did obviously helped my situation. I reported this with detail on the appropriate website and even offered assistance if they wanted to reach out. .....never received a response which doesn't surprise me.

IP:89.241.56.206:2402 FINALdayZsurvivor.net My name is Артём. I'm the admin of the FINALdayZ server. Its purpose is to provide a challenging post-apocalyptic environment for the DayZ community. If you believe like I do; that DayZ is supposed to be difficult, then please consider the following features: No side-chat. No weapon reticle. No fake full moon nights. No player icons. No compromises. Vehicle Traders: You cannot buy your way to survival, but some civilian vehicles are for sale with keys. Orienteering: There is no map waypoint marker. Familiarise yourself with visible land marks to navigate. Immersive Loadout: Each survivor spawns with specific clothing and items dependent on their profession prior to the apocalypse. Every player is granted a radio. Famine: Processed food is rare. Hunt, fish, forage for food and find clean water to stay alive. First Person Combat: The third person view is disabled whilst wielding a firearm. Extreme Environment: Expect prolonged periods of torrential rain, storms, high winds, hazardous ground fog and freezing temperatures all dynamically developing and affecting your status to keep you on the edge. Expanded Gear: Extra items such as clothes, backpacks and weapons are available to loot. Many items bare the effects of the apocalypse such as dirt and blood. Complete Craft: An extensive crafting system provides new solutions for your survival. Use resources to create new tools, or build unique furniture items for your home such as beds, racks and storage. You can also skin the dead to provide materials for items and clothing. Civilian Vehicles: There's an abundance of various vehicles to find, beyond the trader stock. Vehicles will require regular maintenance to remain functional. Stamina: Your equipment will gradually slow you down and affect your ability to run and/or conserve calories. Forbidden Zone: The coast is clear, but inland resides a deadly disease requiring specialist clothing to endure. However, this is where the best loot can be found. Medical Attention: Your status will need to be monitored carefully. Disease and injury are deadly without support and/or supplies. Military Vehicles: They cannot be bought. They can only be found within the Forbidden Zone. Deadly Zombies: Headshots are preferable, and their count will rise over time if you do not deal with them. Wild-Life: An abundance of wild animals thrive across the landscape. But not all are friendly. Contamination: In a failed attempt to contain the virus, hospitals were hit with a deadly toxin. A gas mask will be required to access unharmed. Air-Drop: A full NBC kit and anti-toxin medicine can be obtained using a flare. Be warned however, this is likely to attract attention. Mutants: Many of the inhabitants of the Forbidden Zone, including pets and people have undergone mutation. They're stronger, faster and hungry. Forsaken Landscape: Chernarus has been updated to provide visual storytelling and immersion. Natural reclamation is everywhere. The Rules: Stay ALIVE! Challenge yourself to survive the toughest server in DayZ...the FINALdayZ FINALdayZ COLLECTION | FINALdayZ SERVER

Everyone should enjoy their Christmas break, relax and start fresh in the new year. I hope 2020 is a good year for DayZ as I'm not yet wanting to play it until certain issues, features and content are added. I think it might be worth considering making vehicles client-side again if the synchronization issues cannot be fixed to any great degree. Generally speaking the issues primarily happen on modded and populated servers, but they still do happen on Vanilla servers. I'm aware it was for security reasons making a lot of the game server side authoritative, but in the case of vehicles it might be best reverting to client and allowing Battleye to do it's job (I mean 100k a year license has to mean something). Myself personally I never experienced cheaters in any of my DayZ game time from 2015 onwards, and the experiences I did get prior to that time I could count on one hand. DayZ was never really a game I associated with rampant cheating anyway - legacy bugs and performance problems YES, but my playing experience was never detrimental because of cheaters. Thankfully legacy bugs and performance problems are practically eradicated and it's just the new problems that need fixing.

I agree that building a base works fine, but as you said, it is so poorly balanced that it is just a worthless feature. And that is a pity since it could be a great time sink and offer so much fun possibilities. My problem with the infected is that they act so cheap. You still move right threw them sometimes when fighting, the poor pathfinding in buildings and sometimes in combat, the missing turn animation (without animation they just turn around) and the lack of aggressive stance animations. Sit in a house and look out the window when surrounded, they way they are animated and behave looks so poorly and cheap. I just want them to fix the current things first before implementing stuff like helicopters and two wheeled vehicles. I rather play a game that has a stable core gameplay. Now even one year later I still don't see a reason to message my buddy and say: let's fix up a car and build a base somewhere! No it still remains walking around and doing pvp. At least the survival elements were improved...

Hello, I read this Bohemia blog about 2019 and the future, and it was a very interesting read. I would very much like to see something similar from the DayZ devs about DayZ in particular. Any information over the last year has been sketchy at best, more often simply non existent. I don't think the old Status Reports would be the right format (having a "status report" for post release development sounds wrong) but some kind of blog summarising the past year, the status of the most pressing issues and some kind of indication of what the plans for 2020 are would be very welcome. Just to name a few questions or issues I'd like to know the status of: Vehicles - what is happening here? Cars will still wobble, jump around or even fly when server performance is poor or players have unstable connection. This has been going on since 1.0 and is - if I understood @ImpulZ right when he was asked about it during a live stream - related to the physics simulation going haywire by desync. Are you any closer to solving this issue? Despawning cars. A very disruptive issue that has been going on since 1.03 in May. On server restart cars are occasionally thrown around and damaged and if ruined then they are promptly cleaned away by the server. To combat this issue I changed the config of my own server so ruined cars are not despawned, after a few weeks the map was littered with at least a dozen smoking wrecks of cars that had never even been assembled... Apparently there is also an issue where cars cannot be placed at their saved coordinate at server restart - and are subsequently teleported to the 0,0 coordinate at the bottom left corner of the map. Which is the bottom of the sea... Speaking of vehicles - where is the V3S truck? It was supposed to come with 1.0 - its parts were spawning at release even - yet still no truck. Held back because of the wobbling/flying car issue? Night lighting. We're getting mixed signals here. On one hand, to "keep the darkness" you do not want to boost moonlight to get the much nicer lighting visuals from pre 1.0 iterations, on the other hand you implemented the personal night light that makes the dense darkness irrelevant anyway - and makes the lighting look awful. This does not make any sense whatsoever! I'd like to suggest you boost the moon and remove the night light, it would make nights much more pleasing visually. Add a dynamic interaction between moon phase & position, cloud cover and light levels and you can still have the very dark nights much of the time. Variation is natural. Nighttime clouds. Related to 4, clouds are unnaturally lit or glowing at nights, making the sky look like an oil slick. This has been so ever since SimulWeather was removed with 1.02 but has become worse over the course of the year, I'm assuming due to changes to lighting. Clouds obscure light at night, they do not glow (except for when reflecting light pollution, not a factor in DayZ, and around the moon when the cloud cover is thin). Server performance. Always an issue and seemingly the biggest factor holding DayZ back at the moment. The removal of SimulWeather, vehicles misbehaving, too few infected etc. Is this something we're going to have to live with or is there hope for improvement? Below a bunch of other issues/backlog features I would like to know the plans for: Cold weather survival. Still some balancing to be done here - and heated food needs to lose heat. A) because using steaks as eternal heat packs makes cold survival trivial and B) overheating and dying because of a few steaks in your jacket is stupid. There needs to be more waterproof and water resistant clothing available. Raw meat needs to get spoiled if you do not cook it within a day. Same goes for opened cans of food, veggies etc that also needs to deteriorate over time. Spray painting? Dyeing, leathercrafting? Stabbing animations - it feels and looks incredibly dumb to swing a spear like a club. Since we stab with bayonets, why not with the pointy stick and spear? Then you can add the pitchfork back too. A number of other melee weapons are still missing. Sword, club, farming hoe, sickle, fire extinguisher - and the chainsaw - just to name a few. Are they scratched permanently or in the works? Improvised bow? What is the status? Broken bones? There is already a mod faking it better than the old 0.62 implementation - this should be done in the vanilla game until the dreamed skeleton simulation/ragdoll/animations is implemented. If ever. Since I mentioned it - ragdoll. Will we ever see it? Sick of bodies of players and zombies falling into walls. Not only does it look amateurish but it makes them unlootable. Bodies need to interact with the terrain. Two wheeled vehicles? Flying vehicles/boats? Written notes? Books? Ambient animals - foxes, rabbits, birds etc - are these scratched for good or still in the works? Infected and wolves fighting. Apparently disabled intentionally but no explanation given. This is not a good change, I was recently chased by a bear, a flock of wolves and a dozen infected who were all out for my scrawny behind. It actually felt more than a little unfair...

Rules No base raiding. However, unlocked bases (and vehicles) are fair game. Metagaming is allowed via Discord, Teamspeak, Steam...whatever platform. Don't block paved roads, medical or military buildings with bases or base components. Don't build within 100m of the Traders or block the entrances to them. Anything else goes. Armed robbery, torture, et al, permitted. KoS permitted at airdrops in a 500m radius around the airdrop crate. (Airdrop loot despawns after 90 minutes. Each airdrop crate, and thus its KoS zone, lasts 90 minutes. A new airdrop / dynamic KoS zone spawns every 60 minutes.) Lethal self defense is permitted if someone points a gun at you, steals from you, threatens you, or robs you. Lethal vengeance may be taken immediately or at a later date against the perp(s) who have wronged you. A KoS attempt is allowed one time against the perp(s) to settle the score. The perp(s) may defend themselves during the victim's retaliatory engagement, but may not retaliate against this KoS attempt. Victims who fail to kill the perp(s) in the attempt may not attempt a 2nd KoS against them. Victims may hire hitmen and enlist friends to help kill the perp(s), but whoever dies as a result will not be reimbursed for their losses. Info Join with https://dayzsalauncher.com/#/home Increased zed count; small armies in bigger villages. Bring plenty of ammo. More chickens, goats, cows, deer, pigs and hogs to hunt. Sell their meat and pelts. Larger wolf packs (6 minimum) with expanded hunting grounds. Be careful! More wolf and bear spawns. Guns and ammo are everywhere. Certain guns, medicines and supplies are tough to find. They're worth a lot. Traders pay the most for items they don't sell, like antibiotics and power generators. Daylight for 3 real hours, nights last about 10 minutes. Restarts are at 12 & 6 Eastern (-5 GMT). Server is in Atlanta, GA. A smooth experience despite using a ton of mods.
