FINALdayZ | The Toughest Server in DayZ

Final Destination During the outbreak a brutal attempt to contain the epidemic was employed. This involved contaminating all hospitals with a deadly toxin, where the virus was concentrated. Although this failed many of the medical supplies remain intact, but beyond reach of those without sufficient breathing apparatus to protect themselves from the poisonous substance which lingers.

FINALdayZ | The Toughest Server in DayZ

Attention Seekers The Forbidden Zone contains the best loot, but to enter you'll need to be adequately protected. NBC gear is a must, lest you'll fall prey to a deadly disease. Military, fisherman and fire-mans protective clothing qualify as such. Other items such as surgical gloves, workers gloves, wellies and any type of boot can also be used. In the absence of a gas mask, any face covering will suffice, though they'll not protect you thoroughly. However, an NBC hood is essential as no other clothing protects the head completely. The Forbidden Zone is marked only by signage, there's no notification other than a small icon, so ignore them at your peril.
  3. IP:89.241.56.206:2402 FINALdayZsurvivor.net My name is Артём. I'm the admin of the FINALdayZ server. Its purpose is to provide a challenging post-apocalyptic environment for the DayZ community. If you believe like I do; that DayZ is supposed to be difficult, then please consider the following features: No side-chat. No weapon reticle. No fake full moon nights. No player icons. No compromises. Vehicle Traders: You cannot buy your way to survival, but some civilian vehicles are for sale with keys. Orienteering: There is no map waypoint marker. Familiarise yourself with visible land marks to navigate. Immersive Loadout: Each survivor spawns with specific clothing and items dependent on their profession prior to the apocalypse. Every player is granted a radio. Famine: Processed food is rare. Hunt, fish, forage for food and find clean water to stay alive. First Person Combat: The third person view is disabled whilst wielding a firearm. Extreme Environment: Expect prolonged periods of torrential rain, storms, high winds, hazardous ground fog and freezing temperatures all dynamically developing and affecting your status to keep you on the edge. Expanded Gear: Extra items such as clothes, backpacks and weapons are available to loot. Many items bare the effects of the apocalypse such as dirt and blood. Complete Craft: An extensive crafting system provides new solutions for your survival. Use resources to create new tools, or build unique furniture items for your home such as beds, racks and storage. You can also skin the dead to provide materials for items and clothing. Civilian Vehicles: There's an abundance of various vehicles to find, beyond the trader stock. Vehicles will require regular maintenance to remain functional. Stamina: Your equipment will gradually slow you down and affect your ability to run and/or conserve calories. Forbidden Zone: The coast is clear, but inland resides a deadly disease requiring specialist clothing to endure. However, this is where the best loot can be found. Medical Attention: Your status will need to be monitored carefully. Disease and injury are deadly without support and/or supplies. Military Vehicles: They cannot be bought. They can only be found within the Forbidden Zone. Deadly Zombies: Headshots are preferable, and their count will rise over time if you do not deal with them. Wild-Life: An abundance of wild animals thrive across the landscape. But not all are friendly. Contamination: In a failed attempt to contain the virus, hospitals were hit with a deadly toxin. A gas mask will be required to access unharmed. Air-Drop: A full NBC kit and anti-toxin medicine can be obtained using a flare. Be warned however, this is likely to attract attention. Mutants: Many of the inhabitants of the Forbidden Zone, including pets and people have undergone mutation. They're stronger, faster and hungry. Forsaken Landscape: Chernarus has been updated to provide visual storytelling and immersion. Natural reclamation is everywhere. The Rules: Stay ALIVE! Challenge yourself to survive the toughest server in DayZ...the FINALdayZ FINALdayZ COLLECTION | FINALdayZ SERVER

Need help with adding new structures

Wow, that's gonna be terribly time consuming. I can't wait to let loose with an editor...
  5. Namalsk HERITAGE Settlers from times forgotten left their enduring structures scattered across the isles. Once considered archaic, but with modernity failing under the onslaught of nature these buildings provide the best option for coping with the new world. Stay ALIVE!
  6. OLD Hospital The last place you should go in a zombie apocalypse is usually the first. Years later and the old world has begun to dissolve. Revisit what was once our great civilisation and see how much remains. Just be aware of the cold, infections, radiation, starvation, poisoning, militant Ai and zombies. And other survivors. Still ALIVE?
  7. I believe you're referring to Seraja. The Ai package used a combination of WAI and DZAI. DZAI replaced WAI entirely but as they spawn dynamically they'll remain relentless. I'll check the respawn timers to ensure enough time to extract loot, it may currently be set too high. There's also a new set of loot crates for grabs although they mimic the supply drops of Epoch. I'd say the best loot is taken from the Ai although it's possible the crates can grant high calibre weapons. The LHD aircraft carrier is also being relocated. I'm not saying where but I'll certainly post more details when it's ready. It too will contain valuable loot, but as you know it won't be as simple as opening a crate... Chernarus will be ready soon. It will be just as tough but perhaps a little warmer... If you ever have grievances with the server, staff or players then please use the forum. This is exactly its purpose my friend.

suggestion for zombie and server pve

Historically zombies have never run - rigor motis prevents this (although it actually subsides within a few hours). The latest batch of horror films with zombies actually feature infected people, who die when burnt, shot, stabbed and clubbed to death. Zombies only die when their brain is smashed. If you cut the head off a zombie, the head continues to live. Infected humans' heads do not. Whether the film-makers call it World War Z or whatever has nothing to do with the films protagonists, and more to do with a recognisable adversary, it's easier than explaining this unique features of infection to the audience. Therefore, personally I agree that zombies should walk, despite DayZ being full of infected people. It depends on the servers' preference for game-play more than any other reason. Tough slow zombies are scarier than running weak zombies. Complacency costs lives, imo.
  9. FORSAKEN Future Without human maintenance and intervention, mother nature would soon reclaim the earth from us. In just 50 years almost all our infrastructure would've deteriorated beyond repair. This Forsaken Future is coming soon to FINALdayZ. Chernarus will no longer be recognisable. But the undead are still walking. And the (un)natural world is waiting for you... Stay ALIVE!
  10. Apologies if this has been asked, I have searched yet been unable to find a suitable response. Is there a pond item which, when placed just inches above another surface, does not cause units to bounce? Or perhaps it's possible to have the pond item as a visual item without the in-water effect (player swimming, bouncing)?
  11. DEDICATED! FINALdayZ Namalsk is now on a dedicated server. If you haven't yet tested your survivalist skills on the toughest server in DayZ, then now's a great time to do so. Featuring forsaken Namalsk: a collection of additions designed to make looting trickier and the landscape more immersive and interesting, with subtle clues to discover hidden secrets within the environment. Stay ALIVE!
  12. The BIG Bang! The sound of a nuclear weapon exploding is very rare, not least as anyone watching may be vapourised. All films took stock sound effects to create their effects, but FINALdayZ Namalsk uses one of the only remaining actual recordings of a nuclear weapon. So you can be sure that when you hear it, you'd better be in the right place to tell the tale... Stay ALIVE!
  13. ART imitating (the old) LIFE Why I choose to tourment myself with images of a lost world is strangely beyond me. Preserving the old world in fading images only serves to highlight our own shortcomings in failing to secure it for ourselves. Stay ALIVE!

    Few Suggestions

Whether the game is too soft is down to the host. The tendency is to attract players with easier modes of play, rather than enforce a tougher experience.
