Exp Update: 0.60.+++

It looked like they were working on the forum website yesterday. At some point when I went to login, the whole login script was down and I had a small box in the top right corner showing a crashed link and yet the rest of the page was working. Most companies just work on the page live, so mostly the page stays up unless you happen to click on a link they are working on.

No it was my fault, I said something and the servers must have heard me.  It's like Green Mountain, all pretty and inviting, but when you get there you're fucked.

Hmmm, no patch today either I'm guessing?

It seems they encountered something extra nasty or hard to nail down.

Now I'm thinking we'll be lucky for a patch by Friday....

God, if the servers weren't so packed I'd be dying to find a sedan and a mine to try hitting it full speed on the northern highway. I believe you supplied the v3s last time I tried and it was interesting, sliding down a hill bouncing off trees like a pinball.

I have been seeing the same and thought it was a local Java script error, but maybe now it really is server related.

I saw a couple of other errors trying to log in as well.

A red drop down comes out above your log in email that says, "internal server error" or if you press the giant log in button at the bottom of a thread it brings you to a blank page that references a Java error of some kind.

Yeah, saw the red dropdown a few times too.

The Sedans come to me...

i "live" in Kamenka and on 4 or 5 servers, sedans park at the fuelstation with all tires, doors and batterie, only missing part is the sparkplug.

i don´t use cars so i only sit on the hill and wait for the "owners" to rejoin. 

funny time, BUT when fuelstations explodes again after shots, i will have the best time ingame^^

Funny, I just finished putting together a sedan earlier today. Hoping it's still where I left it when I get on later. Mine was missing two wheels, spark plug, and a battery. Added a headlight for good measure. Not ready to use it for testing landmines though. :D

Anyone having a problem with a dual or triple monitor set-up by where the game boots on the main screen and then moves over to the screen next to it? I'm asking for a friend, he has carried out the apparent bug fixes provided by the DayzTV twitter account but it still is moving from the main screen to the side screen

Ya I read that lost in the ocean story :-D  I do have a compass and it might be my only chance. Lots of food and 3 bottles of water, I wonder. There should be sharks and jelly fish.

I like that idea. If you venture more than 100 meters into the ocean, I think that there should be a chance of a shark attack.

How about a shark with Dean's head on it???  ; )

B-b-but most shark attacks occur in shallow water, and there were just 98 attacks reported worldwide last year (that was a record high).

'cause most people stay within a few meters of the beach. Most people don't swim in the "open ocean."

At some point, I hope that we get rowboats, but if you elect to swim to Prison Island, for example, I think that you should run the risk of becoming a shark snack.

So, I was trying to get in all weekend and obviously the servers were full. However, there were a couple times that I did get into a server but after about 30 seconds or so I got kicked. Anyone experience this issue? Hopefully I can try again tonight and maybe get to play a little.

you might have an outdated version of battle eye. I had that once and for some reason the auto-updater refused to auto-update. I had to reinstall battle-eyer manually.  Just a thought tho

One of the creepiest day in dayz. First of all i think i have found a bug,. Just after login in 1pp server, i have notices 3 chem lights on the road around 15 meters between them. I started to say hello, several times with no luck. Then i went to the first light and took that one. After several "hello" i picked up the other 2. In the midle of the street was also a cowboy hat. After 5 minutes of trying to find someone, i head north and 5 meters in front of me, on an emty road a new chemlight(red) popped.  Being sure i shit my pants, i've wait again. 2 minutes talking to myself. Picked the last chemlight and ran away.

Now, the usual: while i was checking the tents near novy someone shot me, but he missed. No gun in y hand (never walk with one).

Then 30 minutes later i got shot anyway, mosin.

Spawned literally in front of military academy in Novodimitrovsk. Went inside, met a guy who cracked my head with an axe. 2 minutes playtime :)

Now i am alive, bamby with a beanie hat.

I have a three screen spanning setup that works great with all three in DayZ and ArmA. To play games without support for ultra wide ratios on one screen I always have to set them to windowed mode because it goes to my left screen otherwise no matter which I have set as primary. If your buddy has tree matched monitors try spanning all three or whatever AMD calls their system, I can zig-zag running diagonal and see behind me on one peripheral and in front of me on the other. It's awesome for corner camping and circle strafing too.

Fair point, but I don't think a 7 minute swim should result in a shark attack. Realistically (authentically?) the incidence of shark attacks is so low that I don't think sharks should be a concern for any player wanting to swim in the ocean. I might be biased.
