Have you recently tried standing in water?  I couldn't find anymore zeds after the truck surprise.  I'm mostly interested in quick emergency refuges, as ladders are always the obvious choice.  Unless you happened to have been unlucky enough to have them push you off a ladder, and get stuck in the climbing animation on the ground a couple meters from the ladder...

Not since last weekend, atm I am back on stable.

My character was on the 1PP servers, so I started a fresh 3PP tonight. I can't do big towns on my AMD machine, but I've been to every out of the way outhouse, dog house and chicken coop. I spawned on the West side of Elektro and I made it almost to Severograd before I found my first gun! I called it a night when I got to Kamensk and I was still rockin' a child's brief case. Apart from apples and berries, I found a grand total of one can of tuna and two cans of soda. I'll be trying a different server tomorrow.

Only saw two zeds. Both were wandering around Vyshnoye.

Oh and speaking of servers, the server performance was hideous with anything more than 25-30 players. 40 players was virtually unplayable.

This machine has a AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU. I can get 30-35FPS in the countryside, but with heavy server load, it frequently freezes for two to five seconds at a time. With less than twenty people on the server, it only freezes once in a while.

Up until a couple of builds ago, the FPS would "only" drop into the single digits. Now it freezes dead in its tracks.

If it helps, I've got one of the best consumer Intel chips there is and I'm still having the occasional momentary freeze (<1 second, but still noticeable). This is something I've noticed in the last few builds as well, and when I go back to Stable (0.55) I don't have this issue at all. Not sure what's causing it.

Still nothing there. I can confirm that myself, I've died so many times. ;(

On DayZ UK 0-10 (Experimental/Unstable) I no longer need food or water as my health status stays bright green. I've been running about an hour. Anyone experience similar? i.e. once you are healthy and all in light green you no longer get hungry or thirsty.

I actually suddenly thought "Oh no, I bet I am actually starving and thirsty but the indicators are broken" so I logged off and back on to the same server and got a Respawning in 30 secs message but nope I was still alive and healthy.

I'd say I've run the width of the map what with the meanders I've taken.

I think it's related to this bug: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=25201

Misery loves company, eh? I also have a speedy, quick Intel machine that periodically suffers significant FPS drops with DayZ. But, that's to be expected, with the game in its current state. My Intel machine is apart at the moment for some mods and it really has been painful trying to readjust to the performance of the AMD CPU. It's just not up to the task.

Low FPS due to client performance will come as no revelation to anyone here, but what I was experiencing last night was clearly tied to server performance. I'm sure that both problems will be addressed in due time.

Yes, I had the same issue on the same server, but yesterday. I made a post in this threat yesterday with another issues on the same server (nobody could join - played ~1,5 hour completely alone, around 50 people, probably more tried to connect to the server). Everything was fine, no lag, no delays with the inventory but, no other players...

Yesterday I was always energized = dark green; hydrated = light green. No matter what or how much I ate, the status was always the same. Today when I logged in, I vomited. Now, it seems to be working as it should for me.

Same, except my Hydrated dropped from Light green to Dark green, but other than that, I stayed energized and hydrated.

I hope you learned your lesson mister, forcing vomitting with your finger is very bad. Why don't you just eat less instead of vomitting after every meal. Your body fat is just fine.

Over the course of playing six hours +/- last night I think I only ate one tin of tuna and about sixteen apples. And, whereas before I was carrying three to four bottles of water, I only carried one last night and I only had to refill it perhaps 3-4 times. Things are all over the chart now. I never know what to expect when I log in these days.

So - June 8th for a possible stable update! I guess that means the next Exp update will take place around the same time? Quite possible the two versions will be the same, too :)

OK, I'm totally done for now. I'm just going to wait for this patch to hit stable. I'm getting a lot of memory errors, items which are stuck in my hand. After relogging when an item was stuck in my hand, my shoes dissapeared. How is that even possible? And directly after that got another error. The waiting time to join a server after a crash is making this patch unbearable for me.

I'm currently waiting more than I can play/test.

I'm getting nothing like that any more. Very odd. The only thing I get is freezes but that's not even consistent and seems to be server specific.

Many of us have the same trouble. At least you're going about it sensibly and taking a break if you can't take it anymore instead of rage quitting and ranting

I also get tons of mem. crashes, and once I realize it pisses me off a bit too much I just wait for a few days and come back to see if it's been fixed. Saves me a ton of ulcers ^^ I think that the item in hand thing may be due to lag. I had invisible cereal in my hand earlier today and couldn't get rid of it no matter what. So, with the weekend being here I'll just hang back for a while as well and enjoy the nice weather :)

So far, my problems consist of memory error crashes when I try to join SOME servers (not all, seems to be random), and sometimes if im lagging my character has trouble being able to pick up items, like some i'll click Take, but it wont take it and ill have to find and use another item to be able to pick the old one back up. Other than that and zombie sprint being equal to olympic runners, it seems fine to me.

zombie sprint being equal to olympic runners

What do you mean by that? Speed or stamina?

Just read your signature, so I suppose you mean speed. I can always manage to outrun them as long as my hands are empty. Having something in your hands slows you down after a bit so it's easy for Zeds to catch up to you unless they go into their "stumbling /shambling" gait.

Just made a newb mistake and ate the wrong color berries. Hovering between sick and sick right now, enjoying the wavy, nauseating mirage-like visual effect.

I'm not sure when this was added, but good job!

P.S. If you don't see it, Postprocessing has to be above Normal (or High). I personally prefer it this way because it makes 1PP so much more immersive (and makes sprinting inconvenient), but I know many of you use lower Postprocess settings to gain a few extra FPS and visual clarity. You guys are missing out! ;)

If I turned on post processing I would be sick for real due to my low fps.

My postprocessing is always on "Very Low" because I get nauseous at anything higher. To me, anything above that setting has really exaggerated light effects that are borderline unrealistic (i.e. blinding glare from a road sign). It's unfortunate that I miss out on neat little things like what you're describing, but I cannot stand the higher levels of that setting :(

Hmmm good to know.  Been playing on 'very low' PP for ever as I thought you still got all the effects without over done PP.. gonna play on high for a bit to see what its like!

I got sick from berries recently too... wares off.. just gotta stay hydrated.

Well that was a fast end to my fishing. Got the pole together and the worm on the hook, put them together and stepped up to the edge of a big lake, nothing. Stepped in the water, nothing. Walked out a little further, nothing. Scrolled my mouse wheel, left clicked, nothing. Stepped one more step and there was some drop off and I started swimming, pole, hook, bait gone. Ah well, never saw a message to cast my line or whatever...grrr.
