If you read the terms and conditions of the purchase on steam, they're not stealing at all. They have no right to compensate your money. You were caught hacking, you were banned - you inadvertently tried to edit files and values within the game.

And that's the point they just banned me without any reason i wrote to battleye support for ages and until this very day i didn't get a single god damn reason why i'm possibly banned and that means you just took my money without any recompense (it's called stealing btw) and hurt my rights as customer with this kind of behaviour and i'm going to repeat myself: I WILL NOT LET THEM COME THROUGH WITH THIS! And you should side with me like it is expected from a social community to help those ones who got victim of injustice.

 

 

Btw. you can get banned for playing with .pbo, for using 'FPS boosters" (that remove grass etc.) or for having cheat engine on your disk too.

i'm not insulting any other members of this community i just want to warn them, that Battleye appearently goes rampage on non hackers maybe just to "Accomplish" some numbers in banned ppl or something

 

Oh and i did contact battleye "support" multiple times they didnt respond and they obviously don't respond intentionally since i only got an automated message stating i'm guilty by default without even hearing me out

Without commenting about your specific problem, I think "rampage" is a bit of an overstatement.

 

BTW, I saw in other games that third parties remapping your keyboard was considered hacking. What I'm saying is that any other software impacting the rendering of the game can possibly be considered as hacking. And like any kind of law in real life, you can't claim ignorance : not being aware of a law can't protect you against the consequences of breaking that law.

This forum isn't biased or censored. It's just not the place for BattleEye complaints. Might be why we don't see your kind that often ; other people must be inquiring directly with BattleEye

And, with the kind of time I pass on Dayz and medias related to Dayz ; if I can't see rampage, I'm just gonna assume there's no rampage. I might as well go as far to think that you present your problem as generalized to disculpate yourself from any responsibility.

I suggest you are staying out of this thread, if you can't say anything constructive, despite the fact that your accusations ungrounded.

 

We can not help you here, if we want to. You will have to contact BE-Support and if they do not respond, you can try Steam Support, then go on to Bohemia-Support. Nothing you say on here will change your credibility, though. If anything, your complaints are making it worse.

Well, i understand your frustration as such thing might have happen even though is highly unlikely. From what i have read and my understanding of Battleye:

 

1. 3rd party softwares like cheatengine, comatic, trainers, virus, trojans, key loggers, etc pirated software of any kind that may manipulate game process/memory/etc may trigger BE.

2. Make sure your PC is virus free with atleast some anti-virus scan, you may be innocent but unknowingly has such software in your PC.

3. This things takes time, i may not agree with some of the rules like positive ban after 72 hours. BE may unbanned the list during Beta or full release (food for thought)

4. Battleye warning should be issued to all players to remind players (good for 1st time offenders)

5. Atleast now you are more cautious with your PC health & all E-transactions.

• No one is banned for using non-hack programs (like Fraps, overlays, etc.), picking up or using hacked in-game items, weapons or vehicles, being on a server at the same time as a cheater, or other passive non-cheating activity.
• No details about your ban (including evidence) will be revealed. Hackers would love to have access to this information and therefore we cannot disclose that.

Here are some quotes from the BattlEye FAQ. 

 

Because I have some understanding of how BattlEye operates I can assure you that these are absolutely true and no such thing as a false ban exist, excepting one incident in the past which was rectified immediately. BattlEye is also under no pressure to issue bans to "meet some numbers" like you suggested, therefore there is no reason for them to do that. You can only get banned for running some sort of a malicious software. If (and this is a big if) there was something running without your knowledge, Im afraid that is your responsibility and your problem.

 

The criteria for the product being available to use (or the opposite for that matter) are outlined in the respectable TOS and EULA to which you have to agree to before even running the game. Ran into tons of people with m4s today on stable, even though they aren't spawning.  Without fail, all the ones we managed to kill had infinite ammo mags.

 

I really wish they'd just do a full hive wipe if they can't get rid of these things otherwise, because it's really annoying.  And yes, they do still shoot bullets not blanks or whatever that silly rumor was.

I agree with frosti. And make it more "beautiful"? If it changes the graphics, it has a direct impact on how you can spot ppl for example. That may be to your disadvantage, but also to your advantage - either way, I consider it a cheat. Just now I'm imagining that fishing hooks have a bright shine and are easier to find... .

First of all I've encountered a few hackers in DayZ. In my playtime (400 hours+) it's always been the same way. Hackers teleport/fly after you and kill you with an axe or an infinite mag. I don't really care too much but yesterday the hack (or script I don't know) was different. So it's story time:

 

Yesterday me and two friends were heading towards Berezino(yeah i know) coming from up north we were running through the woods with our weapons out. Getting closer to the town we reached a small open field we had to cross. Suddenly all three of us stopped and shouldered our guns. Then the only thing I heard was a "huh" of my friends and about 6 AK shots into my chest. I dropped and decided to respawn to maybe get some of my stuff back. While I was respawning my friends got shot by an AKM aswell. I had a good spawn so I managed to get my stuff back. When I was finished looting my corpse the whole thing started all over. I wanted to pull out my gun only to immediately shoulder it again. Then I was getting shot at again by the same guy(ofc he had a payday mask). I kept running and he kept missing. After he sprayed approximately one drum mag after me and not hitting a single shot I decided I should try to shoot him. I quickly realised this was impossible because everytime I tried to pull out my weapon I would just shoulder it again. So I kept running for like 3 minutes with this maniac behind me trying to unload another drum mag into me. Luckily he still couldn't shoot for shit but 1 out of 75 rounds hit and got me bleeding. I still managed to get away, bandage myself and log out safely.

 

I've never seen this kind of hack(/script) before and was wondering if anyone here can share this experience.

This is called "The safe zone" hack.

 

Basically the hacker (or 15 year old idiot) enables the exploit so anyone within a 100 or so perimeter of the exploiter automatically puts their gun away, thus creating a "safe zone" for the pussy hacker.
