I've decided I'm not happy with the colour of that guy's pants in the picture. What is that, puke green? And you can't even tell what the material is. Completely stupid. If this is what the standalone is going to be I'm not going to buy it.

I've "lost faith" in the Standalone long ago because of the color of that guy's pants. The "hype train" "left the station" a long time ago for the Standalone pants, and now that we know it's true colors - it's just simply too late.

The pants are a work in progress. I'm sure over time we will see the pants evolve until they reach their true potential.

Why would you even want to wear pants? I'm going to be running around in my undies all the time.

I'd like to have a option to wear them off, so I'd be the naked black man that is running through the forest.

Let's hope Dean Hall wasn't messing around when he said that he wanted a variety of clothing.

I really hope that the gamer girls get this game as soon as possible so I can make my own reign of gamble and hookers, and I'm not planning to stop until I see Cherno & Elektro full of my casinos and bars. It'll be called: "StdZ".

We're going to make a lot of money (or at least a lot of crafted items), mark my words bro.

Tbf, everything that will be shown at E3 will be multiplayer footage as it's exclusively a multiplayer game so I have zero concerns there. I know what you're saying but personally I can hold off seeing pvp until a later date.

He has said, I think in Bikemans stream???, that setting up mp games at these event can be very problematic, and tbh he doesn't really need to say this as it's common sense that any kind of bandwidth they'd have at an event like this is going to be raped by everyone there.

So no LAN support in DayZ SA then? :P

Dunno about you guys but, I reckon it has a long way to go before release. I have not seen the crap floating around but from the Bikeman inverview it is clear there is a lot of work to be done still.

I am a little confused about all this MMO / FPS chatter, Could someone please enlighten me? everytime rocket says this I am left wondering what exacly it means. Is it a simple optimisation to allow more players online or is it somekind of way to differentiate the two? Way I see it from updates and pics, there is barely any difference between Mod / SA. (It is understood I understand the graphical / additional stuff / features, but it plays like DayZ mod)

As far as I understand it, it means that all of the items and infected spawning is handled by the server...Which means that hacking and duping items will be much harder to do, so we should see a lot less of it.

If done right, it should pretty much cripple the hackers/cheaters (I hope).

I want to wear tight blue jeans and a leatherjacket. Then I try to find an acoustic guitar and play it in the wilderness sitting in front of a fireplace.

I dont understand how you can have faith in the development of the mod but not the SA, the mod isn't even about survival anymore, it's just pvp.

The mod has evolved into so many different ways over the last six months, we have versions like Epoch and Breaking Point. As for pvp, like it or not, that's why the people I play with play DayZ for, yes it has survival elements but it's the glorious open world pvp that keeps us playing.

It's not hyperbole to say, the players I know have lost faith, i come here most days and talk/post up what titbits I hear and all I get is the Internet equivalent of the blank stare. It's not even that they rage or moan about "more bull plop" on the Standalone, they simply aren't interested one way or another.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a DayZ hater, i don't come here daily just to bash the Dev's. I'm as stoked as the rest of you guys, it's just most I know aren't. As for E3, this is Dean's time to show what they've done, to wow the world with the standalone, that is what E3 is about after all.

Daz, you don't need to be an evangelist for DayZ. If people aren't interested then they aren't interested.

Don't beat yourself up about it.

When the SA is released a lot of people will buy it and play it for different reasons.

I feed stuff back to mates at work and while they're mildly interested they won't devote a lot of thought to it until it's released.

That's normal I think.

But when it is released...I'm hoping there's enough room on servers to be honest....for us masochistic bastards to finally satiate our hunger :D
