I only pop on here these days in the vain hope there'll be some word on bicycles 🙂 Game has come a long way and I love to see the progress, it's the best it has ever been and props to all involved. But please, bicycles, I miss them in the vanilla game 😉

Finally the helicopters are nigh. Fortunately the modding community know how DayZ was and will be once again, unlike some folk on here these days. You haven't played DayZ if you've not got in the choppper 🤗

I kept the faith for a long time but I no longer think BI will add the original staples and rather sadly, I feel like a play tester for Arma 4. Whether that's true or not, only BI can tell.

You have clearly never played DayZ in it's glory, I feel for you, you missed the good times. Thanks for telling us what we should do. Very classy post calling people childish when you obliviously have no idea what you're talking about.

Can't deny my disappointment. I think I've waited long enough for DayZ to be DayZ and I finally give up. We only wanted a version of the mod that wasn't buggy, where you didn't break your leg climbing a ladder and where the zeds didn't run through walls. I can't believe that there's no mention of the DayZ staples we've waited so long for. Bicycles and helicopters created so many memorable moments in the DayZ mod and I finally realise they are never coming. What a shame, what a waste of such a good thing, what a monumental waste of time.

I'm looking forward to exploring Livonia. It would be good to know when bicycles will finally be implemented 🙂

Resurrecting this little thread, has anyone heard any word on when bicycles are getting implemented? I can wait for the helicopter(s) but the lack of the bicycle is wearing a little thin. Some context for the last remark: I've been playing DayZ since the summer of 2012 and I miss the joys of silently and swiftly moving through the map. For those who never played the mod, when you found a bike, it felt like winning a prize. I miss those moments.

^Whole heartedly agree. I'm in it for the long haul, this game grabbed me in the mod and never let go :) It's going from strength to strength now and this is awesome to see.

Thanks a lot for sharing, I feel it coming closer. I keep my gaming forum mates up to date and I'm going to bully* folk into playing when this eventually goes live :) Well, beg, plead and cajole ;)

^ a) I think calling folk who post their feedback here as 'butthurt' etc also qualifies as insults and possibly shows maturity, or lack of too. So you'd do well to keep your hypocrisy in check, it's not a good look. b) Speaking for myself I've been playing DayZ with this feature for almost 5 years now, so I think I'm allowed to say what I like on the subject, as is anyone else who plays the game. c) OP was raised by a player unhappy with the mooted plan, you come onto this thread and attack people for their views, which makes me wonder why you're here, unless it's simply to troll. d) As Pilgrim has suggested, jog on mate.

Funnily enough this has just happened to me on the experimental hardcore server. Logged out in house near Vybor, logged in under house near Vybor. Looks like its back to the stable servers for me :rolleyes:
