Exp Update 0.62.139701

Good evening,

We are preparing 0.62.139701 update for Experimental branch. What is new:

  • fixed Q/E causing character to stutter during movement
  • committed changes that should help with both server performance and client fps drop/freeze in order to monitor its behavior in public environment

As always, when a build is on Exp/Unstable it is there for testing - so the aim is to find out if these changes were effective.

Please file tickets on any issues you find at feedback.dayz.com.
Expect character and persistence wipes for every exp update moving forward!

So thats why I stopped seeing any servers like 10 minutes ago?

Some FPS drops are really unbearable trully, glad it gets fixed. Also these weird FPS Lag Bubbles are annoying.

Good to know, I was afraid something was wrong on my side since the game caused a massive crash right before it happened, system became completely unresponsive and had to be restarted. Thanks, I now feel better :)

You're brilliant you are!  Thank you.  I was wibbling this morning with the juddering stuttering.  I kept thinking...is it me?

I finally got close to the west without being shot and the server shuts down for an update......here we go again

I managed to keep a character going on EXP for several hours, made it to NWAF and started heading to see the new Zele and kill traded in a police station.  Performance is actually really great, I found it more stable than .61 in most instances. 

Until I got into CQB, the desync was very noticeable, guy the dropped dead around 5+ seconds after I died, and going into doorways is a death sentence right now.  Other than that, this update is gorgeous, can't wait to get on later and hopefully see the new Zele

If we could get a option to turn down the ambient volume so people wouldnt get a headache everytime it turn to nighttime that would be great

Doors need to be fixed so they are the correct sizes and positions, and the way doors will be opened may also be changed.

This is what I believe they meant by unification.
