Does anyone know what the scheduled restart time is?

I have a protective case I could spare to test persistence in debug if it's soon.

Oh protective cases are persistent. (EDIT>>I didn't read the debug part. Why would anything be persistent in Debug?<<) At least they were in 0.59. Just like ammoboxes. What puzzles me a bit is that literally everything I threw on the ground around our camp stayed persistent. That are:

- protector case

- Captain Crunch (survived one restart then I ate it - got no compass again...I never get the compass)

- blue hiking jacket

- cooking pot

- press vest

All of these are still lying around after one or more restarts. It's a bit weird, because I'm pretty sure other things I dropped despawned. Some more testing on persistence would be in order.

Because stuff isn't supposed to be persistent in debug yet certain changes to other things have broke whatever cleans up debug before. Some people had fun building gear camps and parking vehicles out there. I think it was at the end of .58 exp when the trucks could break but repaired themselves, I took a truck out north of Belaya Polana I tried jumping it to see if I could destroy it and get it to respawn. Had it off the map for days until a wipe as far as I recall

BioHaze once said that those places are not KOS places but that the people choose to KOS there. And he's right because you aren't forced to KOS there, it's a choice. What's the difference between anyother place? There is better gear sure, but guns are everywhere and every gun is deadly. Against someone like me, having an AK doesn't mean anything. I'm usually the person who sees other people first so even if they have that AK with 20 mags that doesn't matter if I kill them first. But sure, I do KOS at those locations as well mostly because for me that's surviving. I have to be honest though, I don't visit a lot of those places on full servers, I try to stay in the low populated area's. Mostly when I go there it with more people and if I go in alone it's really quick.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, guns are a tool.

I think you guys must have pissed Eugen off :) It's been raining all day and night on the exp servers today. Every single server... constant downpour. On the bright side, first time I've seen the "cold" notification.

Also, noticed wet status is a little weird. If you move a wet item to a dry container, it instantly becomes dry. If you move it back, it becomes wet again. Also, if you put dry clothes on when you are wet, (it seems) they will become wet as well... Seems the only way to dry off at this point is to... wait

I think we are getting the same weather they are getting in Central Europe.

Yesterday I was looting a house when I heard voices outside. Someone outside announced "I see you" in a 'feminine' voice and 'she' immediately came into the building and quickly moved towards me. I put 'she' in quotes because I am not sure the player was female. She had a rifle on her shoulder and no weapons in her hands but the quickness of her actions spooked me and I shot her. I could hear footsteps outside, a lot of them, with people chattering about their friend and if he/she was dead and what had happened. I told them I was friendly but that their friend's actions had scared me and I don't take chances anymore. They seemed to think I was a KOS guy. I'm not....just cautious. They started running around and hitting the outside walls of the building I was crouched in. I could see pitchforks clipping through the wall at times. i kept on trying to explain and was making some headway when I got the 'you are dead' message. Must have been a ptichfork through the wall. What do you guys think? Did I over react or did my victim bring this on her/himself?

Just to chime in!

In my playthroughs yesterday and today, I have found both the water bottle and a canteen. . But they are -rare-. Which I kind of like.

So server reset is 1100 my time, or 1800 GMT?

On the topic of player temperature I'm coming down the stretch on my biathlon, just swam from north side of Svetlo bay to the South end of Berizino one shot only getting "promptly cooling off" before I was booted. I like that you cant do inventory stuff swimming anymore but hate I cant check statuses.

Wearing, Cowboy hat, raincoat, Gorka pants, wellies, hunters bag, and a leather vest with 10pc of hot meat when I left (cooked 5 and heated the rest to the hottest red using the last of my fire).

Someone with more marathon swimming want to confirm I shouldn't have survived?

So the servers are up :-) for some reason when I logged in on Monday the only servers I could see that were experimental was one that required a password. I will check again tonight. I am eagerly waiting to play again, unfortunately I only have had a little time in this latest update so far but I am really excited that Bohemia is taking charge on this and I am hopefully for a GREAT survival game!

Mostly I've noticed I was Overheating a lot in game, so I jumped in a lake and became Drenched and then Soaked, and walked around like that for a while. Overheating changed to Hot eventually, and I stayed Soaked. But it didn't dampen my gameplay (See what I did there? xD)

Well if one can do that as long as one like, we all are unbreakable in the water :-)

But as someone mentioned before, the thing with temperature is weird. I did some cardio along, got a hot Status, tried to cool that way but ever since that i'm soaked and hot at the same time.

It's funny though I sprinted most of the West and North sides of the map and never got too hot.

Now that the rain is back I'm longing for the panic of spawning fresh in a storm, I sat in a t-shit in the rain and watched tomatoes grow drenched and only got mild shivers so far.

The infected aren't doing it currently, I miss when the environment could rightfully kill you.

A few of us spent an extended period out in the water early on with little to no negative effects. Like, multiple hours.

swum from elektro spawn down to balota (after 12 Apples)

in Balota was starting freez and had to leave the water, run from balota to kamenka (with little breaks for new apples) and was on normal temperature again.

swimming along the coast is cool, pin your "w" button down with something and do things at home that must be done.

no Kos and no squeakers in the water is like heaven ;)

Thanks but I like thinking about it. Moral questions make this game different. I could've waited a second or two more to see if 'she' was attacking or about to speak. A second or two could've made a big difference.

sure could have happend, in 99% the only thing that will happen is an black screen "you are dead"

i call it "collateral damage" and when the sh** hits the fan, you have to survive and all rights to do what is needet.

I have to correct myself. Everything re/despawned correctly, i.e. as we are used to.

Did you dress the photo heavily, or have you found out how shadow play will record normally again?

The brightness is bumped to approximately normal level. This seems to work for me, but I forgot to do it that session.

Funny you say that. . In a span of 1 hour I think I came across about 6 Burlap sacks in sheds.

sure, inland you find enough burlaps, at the coast with your nettings all burlaps are picked up to make backpacks (i don´t complain, i don´t need an ghillie)

but i love to stay at the coast, fog and rain with rising sun is looking so beautiful to see.

I totally understand.

Let me just say I usually do everything in my power to NOT KoS but if someone rushes me or stays too close I either leave or kill them.

You probably shouldn't worry too much on this one.

Your only real lose was maybe a  chance at having an unusual experience with a group of randoms rather than getting pitchforked by an angry mob.
