I wonder - what if life was nothing, but a tent within a tent?

 

 

I wonder furthermore - can't the coders make it so that when a truck doesn't respawn with all four wheels on the ground, it will reset and spawn at an original spawn again? I'm fed up with having to find a truck, just to push another truck off the fence. This one made me laugh though - whoever did this managed to drive like 30 meters from the truck's spawn and hit the first fence around.

Most of the streamers are completely annoying to me. I stopped watching Dayz streams. I guess I watched Frankie the most, but that was some time ago. It's probably from the lack of things to do,but these people can't play! They don't know how to. All they see is a weapon in their hands and all they are capable of is thinking: "I'm gonna shoot someone". -snip-

 

 

 

Have to agree, most of the streamers just run around looking for people to kill. I know PVP is a large aspect of the game but I find the friendly encounters generally far more enjoyable and memorable. I do quite like watching TheRunningManZ of late though. His play is pretty solid and he doesn't go full KOS, opting instead to talk to people first most of the time, depending on who he's playing with. His youtube videos are also pretty entertaining to watch.

Hmm I haven't seen that particular one before, but I have come across similar item spawns I couldn't take and it's almost always something very valuable... so frustrating.  :(

That's a new one, I did find another frustrating one too.

Car Tent on the roof of the tenement building, you can't climb down with it and you can't throw it off the roof anymore.

Dudester died (fell off the roof :P ) trying to bring that one down, I tried everything I could think of too but no beans.

After giving up, I went down two floors and wouldn't you know it - another Cart Tent!  :rolleyes:

Too many item dupes in-game at the moment.. So I turned them off recently - so all can play and have fun on experimental.  ^_^

I hope Hicks and others can fix the vest ammo dupe.

Me and Dudester found a heli crash, looted it and then ran into the woods.

Then the server restarted, so we went back.

After restart the same heli was there.

There was no new loot and the stuff that we didn't take was still in the same place.

Restart didn't effect the heli or it's loot whatsoever.

 

I and others have seen on in a spot then come back later within the reset window and found it gone, presumably a new one would be somewhere else. I also noticed if you take everything and camp with in sight nothing seems to respawn but if you go some distance and come back possibly just breaking LOS minor loot gets replaced.

Had an awesome day today. Played with a friend again. Saw one truck stuck, found another that had no fuel, going for fuel, found a third that was running. Got shot on the way to refuel station, survived, bandaged/splint, refueled. Saw cows, wanted to shoot them, but friend was spooked from before. Went back to base only to find the car tent was stolen ^^

 

Made base elsewhere - wondering if the truck will be around tomorrow. Man these servers have a constantly high population. Stil having so much fun, I almost forgot about no infected. almost ;)

Russian helis only as far as I know, Junior and I ran around for hours last night carrying mags for one but only found US helis and the best thing we saw was one UMP45.

The mags, they only spawn in helicrashes as well? I was hunting helicrashes yesterday too! Found one and it had nothing really useful (except for a nice military backpack, and I didn't had no backpack at all, profit I guess). Today I shall continue my search for the almighty SVD, I head that you can use a assault rifle scope on it! Man if thats correct, I must then find both scopes, seems like a very versatile weapon! This will take me some time I guess, goddamn unicorns, at least this one seems to be worth!

No, the mags were found in tent city military basses I believe.

 

We were drinking towards the end and not sure what we still had when we logged out.

I think the SVD spawns with a scope on it. You can use it on other assault rifles, though. I use a sporter with scope and banana and 10 round mag and a CR527, which I absolutely love. Clearly the SVD is a better sniper, but if you find any of those you can attach a hunting scope, often found on hunting posts.

You can attach the Kashtan to the SVD as well :P it even works fairly well, too. But the zeroing still seems to be bugged out at 400m.

A friend has an SVD btw, hes alive and running with it since 2 weeks. Its probably the rarest item in EXP right now. But that wont be the case in stable thx to duping.

Really guys, enjoy EXP gameplay as long as you can, once stable hits it will be coastal deathmatch with duped weapons and serverhopping etc all over again.

Yeah this is what I'm looking for! So when in close quarters I switch to this assault scope, then when in the open I use the long range one as binoculars and sniper!

 

But really, if I can just take out the scope and use the ironsights I'm already a happy man
