I generally stay to myself but am beginning to long for the company of others! Where is the "happening" place to be lately? I need to practice dying a few times! Where might one go to catch a bullet in the face. Thanks in advance for the info.

Hey Everyone, Am I missing something in regards to creating a fresh character? From the home screen I change the appearance form very dark skin to medium dark skin, change the clothing and shoes, click "default Character" hit the back button and go on the search for an exp server but my current character always loads and appears. I just want to fresh start a new adventure and short of jumping off a tall building I can't seem to generate a new character. Any help would be appreciated.

So I entered "validating" in the search box and came up with zero results.....So is anyone experiencing the endless "validating" loop in Steam when trying to open the game or am I the only lucky one here? Thanks

Had the same problem. Hitting "shift" key while driving seems to put the truck in a higher gear. It works well for me. Give it a try. Truck will easily climb any hill with this keystroke.

Having the same issue from time to time. I've been able to work around the problem by removing an article of clothing and putting it back on. This seems to allow me to pick up items. Word of warning though: Some buildings will lose the article of clothing or it may drop a floor below you. Best bet is to remove clothes outdoors, put back on and re-enter the building and you should be able to now pick up the item. Hope this helps.

This is the beauty of private servers! I'll no longer play on public servers for the reasons stated in this thread. Seems the OP may be suited for BF4 or COD. I think you come in those games loaded up. I prefer the slow crawl and true reward of finding something great on the private servers.

Were you on Violent Gentleman's Club by any chance? My brother and I encountered a hacker (Yes I reported it to Steak and Potatoes) in Cherno on three occasions yesterday. Must be a miserable life to have to take that approach.

It's all about where you log out/in. Buildings to me are a pure No-No. I put forth an effort to get to the woods or other secure spot away from civilization. I agree with the waiting for 5 minutes to make sure the Zeds are clear. I agree also that log ins/outs are fair game. Easy to head shot them and recover all the gear without ruining it.
