Exp Update: 0.58 + Hot Fix.

Welp, does anyone found out how to fix the "wrong version" thing, or do we have to wait for devs to fix it? I mean, can I do something about it or is beyond my control?

 

I guess I'll see how stable version is, such long time I haven't played dayz tbh, I don't even know what is in the stable as well!

That was awesome. Fireplaces glow a lot longer since 0.58. Probably been lit hours ago. But so cool you came along some deer. I have the suspicion they sometimes spawn in around those food trays, if you happen to stay in an area like that long enough. But maybe they just spawn in ^^ no telling. Cool video. Btw - what else were you gonna carry, you seemed pretty loaded ;)

I wish you could tell if a note was written on , like some scribbling on the paper, instead of them just all being a white piece of paper.

Because i'm forced to check everyone i come across.

Just try it. Rip a page from your book and put it in hands then throw, hold and release g and your paper sticks to the road, wall, fat tree and probably even to cars. Somebody try it on their truck, please ^^ and tents...god the possibilities are endless. and it's only a piece of paper! I can see myself writing messages only visible from the air already. ASS for example. ISTANCE PLEASE, after I find enough books.

Alright, two runs, north to south and back again over the past few hours.  Dual carrying most of the time, backpack full, same as previous routes for the most part, no issues.  Let's roll!

So, if you find all three helo locations (assuming it's still just three) between server resets, on the same server, do you get a prize?  I run two primary routes when I'm in the mood.  Generally stumble across at least one crash site.

 

First site, just north of green mountain, pillaged multiple times by others, found a nice pair of boots.  Second site, west of Stary Sobor, un-touched from what I could tell, AKM and Smersh Vest.  Third site, north of Grishino, pristine ammo box and some misc. items.

Curious, were you just West of Zelen, within the hour or so, in the fields by the barns, heading East towards Zelen?  It was either you or the only other guy on the server.  Ran right past me, maybe 30 meters at most.

Wasn't me.  I am nowhere near that part of the map and haven't been for several days with this character.  I am pretty much hunkered down and standing my ground at this point

 

Zelen has been a ghost town, loot wise, for a while as well as Sosnovka just to the North.  Zelen was hit hard after the lootsplosion episode was cleaned up in a previous build.   

Testify!  The NEW barracks in the Zelen base there is pretty decent though.

No , You get a board person that logs in multiple servers and circles green mountain every 4 hours...  I think if they have 12 hour restarts heli spawns should be changed to 6 hour spawn rates. How many AUG's do we need floating around ?

 

I don't mean you personally , but if ya jump in that circle area when they reset , ya  have a Amazing chance at hitting 4+.  I think it's a tad to easy.  I found in experimental i could gear up finding helis then actually checking Stary tents or airfield.

He stripped the body right next to a building, probably the stuff went inside or on the other side of the house or some shit like that. Happens a lot (I really wonder why he didnt even bother checking the rooms of the house for it). Are you sure this is really a new issue? Like, have you observed it outside of / away from buildings?

Most of the streamers are completely annoying to me. I stopped watching Dayz streams. I guess I watched Frankie the most, but that was some time ago. It's probably from the lack of things to do,but these people can't play! They don't know how to. All they see is a weapon in their hands and all they are capable of is thinking: "I'm gonna shoot someone." -snip-

General loot does not replenish, however helicopters and police cars do respawn afaik.

Does anyone know what the timer on police cars is by the way? Supposedly they are dynamically respawning now, but I keep finding the same ones.

Me and Dudester found a heli crash, looted it and then ran into the woods.

Then the server restarted, so we went back.

After restart the same heli was there.

There was no new loot and the stuff that we didn't take was still in the same place.

Restart didn't effect the heli or it's loot whatsoever.

Auto-holstering seems to be fixed and cooked food still makes you sick. 

But the real big news is that you can now throw a sheet of paper at a wall, tree or tent and it stays there!   :lol:

Now I can leave a trail of post-it notes - clues leading to an ambush a stash of incredible loot!

Hey thanks for the comment! You're probably right it could have been there hours ago. Especially with these accelerated timespans. I just thought it was cool that not only did I see a herd (hadn't seen that in a couple of builds), but that the deer noticed the fire and went up to check it out. And you're right, I already had a lot of gear, I'm just currently looting for tents now.

To embed a video just make sure you click the "bbcode" button and it will have a drop down box of options , one options is spoiler , and if you choose that you can drop that exact youtube link (the one where you're actually on the youtube video , not the upload link youtube gives you initially) inside the spoiler and if done correctly people will have to click a littl button called "spoiler" inside your post and then the video will be right there without having to click a link to be redirected to YouTube !
