Well if Finland has good enough climate to grow some kind of weed in the fields, near church plants and where ever it gets founded sometimes, I don't believe there's any problem to do that in other Eastern Europe/Russia. OK likely not very quality stuff but it can still grow.

 

You aren't going to get any decent weed grown outdoors in finland or chernarus. Indoor under lamps maybe. Otherwise no.

 

Apart from holland where growing indoors is a science every other weed producing nation has the climate for it. Chernarus weed would be the worst weed and the hemp would probably be better being used to make rope. California, Mexico, Morocco, Afghanistan - there's a reason these places are big producers. what's the weather like there? Is it outdoor growing or indoor.

 

In europe the only places viable for outdoor growing are (off the top of my head) parts of portugal, spain, greece and maybe italy. Maybe a bit of croatia/former yugoslavia

Well got geared up with dudester and Bill last night along with trying to introduce my two friends to the awesomeness of Dayz Experimental... Needless to say wehnever i get with people some other people try and rough us up so dudester and bill had to save me and my friend CommaTrauma from an axe wielding maniac, he knocked me unconcious and killed my friend... But i think one of the two heroes swiftly ended his life haha ! We journeyed on and randomly dude got shot by an invisible (or so it seemed) foe... We think we found him later on (fingers crossed it wasnt some random friendly with the same gear lol!) and we decided to stop his mad journey through chernarus so no more vests could be harmed... We don't normally kill but damn people were after us left and right! It was an overall great night , and surprisingly all this action happened on Signapore 1st/3rd person server! Im on Us east something 3PP if any of you EXP heads are journeying to chernarus soon ;)!

Yeah, what was up with that? There were so many antisocial types on that server last night. I'm sorry that your buddy, Trauma, got hacked to death. Dudester and I were scavenging, I think we were looking for a hoe, or a shovel, so that we could do a spot of farming, when we heard the blood curdling screams. I kept asking for your location, but all you kept saying was, "He's got an ax! He's chasing us! He's got an ax!" I ran in your general direction and, fortunately, I saw the miscreant standing over you, with his ax raised in the air. I came up behind him, so he never saw it coming. I put a couple of pills into "ax maniac" and then I rendered first aid.

 

No sooner did we get you onto your feet, then we saw "red shirt maniac" closing in on us. He abruptly changed his mind, though, when he saw Dudester and me coming at him with AKs, I am pretty sure that he combat logged ... pussy! I'm convinced that he was the asshole who was taking pot shots at Dudester, while we were trying to find you and Trauma.

 

Just when I thought that the dust had settled, we had that other jackass at the well, who would not respond to simple commands. I think that we were more than patient with him and gave him every chance to comply. He just chose not to.

 

All in all, it was a pretty exciting couple of minutes. Dudester was seriously trippin' on adrenaline, so I'm glad that we finally had a chance to relax and grow some pumpkins. Thanks for the good time!

exactly, it's a far cry from chernarus. What I found in eastern europe was that grass/hash just wasn't a thing. Like there's a lot of smokers in ireland/uk despite us not having the weather but it's all imported or grown under lights. In russia/eastern europe they just don't have the same culture about weed. It's just not a thing.

As Long as your summers are above 70* and humidity is at a decent level not too high or low , you can grow bud semi-outdoors anywhere ;) just have to bring it in on cold nights , so I don't see any reason why we wouldn't see a couple plants ready for budding (recently transplanted from outside ) in some chernarus basements / bedrooms , albeit they may be close to rotting seeing as the apocalypse started at least a few weeks ago , but hey our fruit is forever so why not our weed !

So back on topic are these herds of animals I keep seeing screenshots of respawning? I've been trying to get the hides for even a vest since Friday and aside from one herd of bugged deer I've only found 3 chickens.

I've said it before, but they need to do something about driving in 1PP.  It's like drivign with half your windows blacked out.  If I didn't have so much practice in trucks, I'd be crawling around the map.  Your point of view needs to be lowered quite a bit.

Oh no , no one sane Haha , anyone who's sane is buying a nice piece of land and growin some amazing indoors in a small 10X10 shack haha .. But just saying it IS possible to grow in mild autumns / winters! And actually a tough type of cannabis was natured in Russia somewhere, called cannabis ruderalis , it's basically cannabis toughened against the cold .... It Just won't get that amazing indoors outcome , but definitely smoke able !

Son of a bitch.  Desync is a mother fucker.  I log into a low pop server, one other person.  I had logged out in a barracks that is pretty darn remote, I figure to log back in, make my way out and get to my regular server.   What's the odds of that guy being in the same place as me, right?  It's just one other guy.  Pretty astronomical right?  But, there's the dude right in front of me as I am flashing into existence and I can see his hands moving.  He's going for a weapon, I know it.   I already have my AK in hand so I blast him. Must have emptied a full magazine into him, nothing, he's so close to me that he's in both reticles. 

 

Then I hear the BANG from his gun.  "You are dead."  Jesus.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but when you eject .308 rounds, sometimes they bug to 0.308 and can't be combined with regular .308 rounds. But you can load them back into the rifle. Not a big deal or anything but figured I'd mention it.

When it's in your inventory try right clicking on it, you'll get a prompt, I think it says "Unpack Rounds" or something to that effect.  Once you do that you can combine them normally.

I believe this is because you "Dragged" them out of your gun rather than actually ejecting them. If that is the case, it's been an issue with all guns for a long time. Put 5 rounds in a Mosin, fire a round, then drag them out.. they will appear as ammo with no number inside of it, because it hasn't properly been ejected.

Anyone know how to get big stones? The ones required for making a fireplace? Because I have a pickaxe, but even when standing on/near rocks, I can't get a prompt to "break stones", or whatever... I can make a garden lot though!

 

Also, with PET bottles, the "improves fish traps".. How do these work exactly?

If I stand with the trap in my hands, it gives me no prompt to "place" it.. Do they only work on the ocean? Do they work in ponds? How do they work? Do they work at all?

Fish traps will only work on the coast so if you are trying to use it anywhere other then the coast then it won't work at all. Ponds / lakes / rivers all require you to use a fishing rod and lure / worms in order to make that work, but i'll explain that in a second.

 

The improv fishing trap works like this. Cutting tool to plastic bottle, make trap. Shovel > Worms. Worms go in trap. Trap is set in the ocean. Catch Sardines ( this doesn't take long at all) Take feesh, prepare feesh, cook feesh. Nom nom feesh. Simple.

 

Now, with a river and a fishing pole this video should actually work better then me telling you here.
