I said: Even though I go out of my way not to PvP on EXP (except for the 2 guys I sniped right as I found my first hunting scope - had to test it), I admit it was kinda funny. You called me a hypocrite. Either you don't know what the word "hypocrite" means or you don't know what the word "except" means. If you could point to the place where I said (i) KoSers were bad or wrong, and (ii) I'm not bad or wrong, you might have a point. But you can't. Because you're more interested in having a point that being correct. In fact, I said that getting blown up was funny! When the only way to communicate is in writing - like this board, it's best if (i) not only are you careful about the words you use, but (ii) you also think about what you're reading. It's probably a function of the DayZ SA Mind Reading system: you want an Axe? You'll never find one. You wan't to live? You'll be sniped on a 6 person server form 800m in the dark. Was once on a 3 player server, including me. I was waiting in Gorka for the person to arrive who I was playing with. As I checked his screen he wasn't in Gorka. A few minutes later I see someone run and ask "Is that you in Gorka?" and he replies with "No, that's not me, I'm almost there.". Eventually I ended up killing him because he killed my other player. I thought "Holy shit only 3 players on and all 3 in Gorka, what a coincidence". Still sounds buggy and certainly not fully implemented.Interesting! I have been rocking a hunters pack. It was damaged when I initially found it and I noticed that my gear was getting damp. I repaired the pack to worn condition and so far my gear has been staying dry. I haven't gone for a swim with it, but so far it has been rain resistant. I couldn't imagine why your gear was getting damp, unless of course, you bag was also damaged. Still ... I wonder what the logic is as to what gets damp first and what does not get damp. Of course this is the first iteration of objects getting damp/wet (apart from clothes) so I wouldn't expect that we are looking at the final product. This is almost certainly a work in progress. What I don't like though is people who just throw out dissatisfaction without giving any arguments or statements on why something is bad.Additionally, Hicks specifically said that he DOES NOT recommend that we play (the game) with it.
