ok I didnt have time to play few days, but last time I was here teling how I accidentally dub my gear all the time. Now I did figure it out, its stupidly easy on 0.56. Newer I have done enithing like duplicating before, but now its stupidly easy. Do I report it here or what?  First time playing experimental so I was wondering

Sort of, I can't open the damn door.  It seems to me I am moving but server side I am not.  I did manage to throw the frying pan, but, when I could not open the door I logged out and am going back in, hopefully the frying pan will still be gone at least.

It's probably related to the hotbar. It's causing all sorts of strange issues. It's best to report it in the bug tracker: http://feedback.dayzgame.com

I had a couple of incidents with 0.56 where I could not interact with things. Just like when you get the "No Message Received" message ... symptom-wise, only I never got the "No Message Received" message. Re-logging solved it for me.

had the same problem, tryed to play on an US server with ping 150, after joining an UK server with 40 ping it works.

 

From fare away harwaii this could be your problem?

Found loot rather plentiful on the SE coast.

 

Slow moving zombies stayed aggro'd a long time.

 

Happy to see some infected.

 

I do think the CLE is working at least partially as intended.

 

Found a P-1 pistol in a green box in a railroad shed.

 

Possible proof of weapon spawn in rare spot.

 

Performance seems about the same if not better.

 

So much loot in the city I spawned in I haven't struck out North.

 

Shared the server with one BleedoutBill for a good long while....

Wipe, again? Without a patch? That's pretty weird. (Might have been a problem with the servers...)

 

Didn't download any new version or anything. 

 

And now have pretty big problems...

 

When closing DayZ, I get the same memory error as others, but somehow it now gives me a blue screen of death.... (First time in 3 years with this system...)

 

And when I start DayZ, I get this message:

Edit: Now it asks for adapter...

 

I had the error message before I got the blue screen. Every time I enter the game, the settings returns to "default" (very low settings) and I have to change them back manually. I deleted the config file, but still got the same error. In 1200 hours, never seen or get this...

 

Soaaa ... here is a (slightly modified by me) DayZ.cfg

 

1. make a backup copy of your file

 

2. check if the same lines are in, best do that with 2 editors next to each other, you should see missing entries straight away.

I saw you and ColdAtrophy on there. I hopped off when it got dark, to have a snack.That's one of only two 1st person Exp servers that I get a decent ping on. I trust that you guys found some decent gear, as that server has been pretty good to me the past few days.

 

It looked to me that the devs have configured a few new loot spawn locations. Variety is a wonderful thing ...

try max ping server while running against the wall or stay next to the wall and fire a gunshot (hope you have a gun).

Can help you with that, happened to me the other day, older tricks won't work anymore as you can't prone and roll.

 

Here's how I did it:

 

Go to a corner in the walls, face it (the corner) directly.

Start running at it.

Quickly exit the game(don't use the menus) or disconnect your internet whilst still running at the corner.

By the time you log back in, your character will be unstuck and in the side yard of that house.

 

Hope it works for you, worked for me!

I'm cautiously optimistic based on what I'm seeing in the game and accounting for all the activity over the weekend.

 

The estimates given for release of features in the status report may be extra far flung as to try to cover their asses, which means sooner developments are possible as well.

These guys are serious. When a problem gets them sidetracked, they don't mess around. Weekend, or no, they're on top of it, wrestling it to the ground. Personally, I think that their timeline is a little optimistic, but they've demonstrated that they are committed to gettin' 'er done.

Really ? Four canteens mate ?! Lol are you hoarding for a clan or just trying to cockblock the next survivor looking for a canteen ;) ! Can't wait to get on experimental tonight and save my guy from Zeleno (although this town saved me , I have to keep looking for some ammo or a main arm , all I have is an fnx on a 3PP and nothing on my 1PP :( )

When you pick it up, it is no longer a CLE factor.

 

I play lone wolf, but have friends. I stash things at our known camps(we have 6 positions)

 

I carry 2 canteens myself, one for hydration, one for gardening(carrying 10 pumpkin seeds and a shovel has saved my bacon a time or 10)

 

If four canteens offends your senses, you must pass out at the guys dual and triple wielding guns and etc  :)

I have logged in several times on a couple of different 1/3 pp servers.  I am logging in at exactly the same place each time.  I can't seem to leave or open door, I have a frying pan in hand that I cannot drop.  I logged out completely and am validating game files as I write this, hopefully this will solve the problem.

I think there might be a problem with swapping things. I had a can of soda in my hand and I picked up a jacket and the soda landed on the ground and the jacket in my hand and then all sorts of sticky stuck in my hand stuff started happening. Ended up having my rifle stuck in my hands (which wasn't too bad) for about an hour on 3 different servers. Seems best to move things manually at the moment and for sure do not use quickbar. At least that was the idea yesterday.
