ok so im hearing all over the internet (well in some parts) about something like DONT GO TO GREEN MOUNTAIN and stories and crap but i never got the whole myth down. can someone fill me on the backstory/myth of green mountain?

I think the antigravity stuff in the tower, and even bullets being interfered with..

is obviously significant

if someone can be not shot by speeding bullets aimed at them

unhurt.. and the bullets just fall to the ground... then how can you say that's not a paranormal event ?

The myth is, dayz is so boring, players come up with stories to keep their gameplay interesting. Those glitches appear all over chernaurus, did I tell you the story of novy sobor, I was in the building, when I got the mysterious "no message received for.... seconds". My game mysteriously restarted and when I got back I was in a zone of no return, I was one with the building, forever trapped with in its walls.

Have I told you the strange sounds of solichniyi, where sounds of gates and growling zombies are heard but no creature living or dead around.

There is not very much of a curse, I lived there for about 2 months, I made that place scary, and that was the point, I love the place, my pet zed is the main part of the area, he respawns in front of the main building, I don't know what it is, but it seemed the more people I killed there, the more and more cozy and evil it got! 902 Player kills, fuckin bandits, fresh spawns, gatherers, and the Task Force formed and trained to kill me, all fell. Green Mountain, My home!

I believe it is/was a numbers station that was cover for a biological weapons lab.  The lab for Captain Tripps was disguised as a USDA Agricultural Station.

 

I stay away from there as much as possible, I don't even like looking at the tower...

I would love to go there again, but until I die, I'm simply stuck in a building waiting for someone to come and kill me. I'm on full health so starving to death might take awhile. I have heard there is a mystical dance you can do to phase out of this zone but it's not working for me.

I´ve been there some days ago, on a bright and warm day. I approached carefully through the southern woods. When I finally arrived there was nothing - except that I felt something horrible was waiting for me somewhere...

So I opened the front door, blasted in, ran to the first floor and got into the room with the 4 beds. There it happened.

 

I heard footsteps, running footsteps. aimed my M4 out of the windows an saw...nothing, not a single thing, not even the branches on the trees where moving. I stood still for what felt like 10 minutes or more, but in reality it was just 1 second or a bit longer. I nearly pooped my pants. Sweat ran all over my body, I was shaking with fear. More footsteps.

 

Without thinking I just RAN like a madman, approached the entrance door, crawled under the fence into the woods and kept running for some time.

 

To this day I guess I never know what the hell happened out there, as there where no zombies chasing me, no survivors shooting me and nothing in particulr happened to me - except that terrible fear, nesting pretty deep inside my spine.

 

That freakin' Green Mountain is cursed. It curses fellow survivors with the curse of fear. Unreasonable fear!

this is the kind of total red-eyed, drooling, I-never-wash, eat-them-raw, serial killer (and his abnormal zombie friend) that is attracted to Green Mountain by some kind of ...strange ...  attraction

and what does greenmountainserialkiller's name MEAN ? there is a message right there in the name itself. right.

 

Strange folk like this (and their zombies) are drawn to Green Mountain to kill, probably the 'vrill-force' is too strong for them,

... or they just loonies.

Like month ago, me and buddy met total stranger south of Green Mountain.

We became friends and then, when night has falled, we dared to go to Green Mountain.

 

I have to say I had goose bumps, it became stormy night..

 

Maybe we just were lucky, or maybe we were bereft of evil since we did not KOS'ed that stranger, the mountain let us leave alive!

It is a Blood Sucker from the STALKER Games, it was somehow brought in to DayZ Namalsk to. It is the same blood thirsty monster.

It's from BreakingPoint mod for the DayZ Mod. There were locations on the map that if you were in the area there was a chance for a Bloodsucker to spawn. That thing would then chase you until you killed it. We actually spawned one at Rog once and hopped on a motorcycle to get away. We then had an accident with a zombie running out infront of us and ruining the front wheel of the motorcycle. While my buddy and I were trying to hunt up a new tire from the industrial spawns in Shakovka when that damn thing came along and smacked me, it had tracked us all that way.

Back to Green Mountain. My friend and I wandered up there yesterday. No zombies, doors open, we assumed it was pretty well looted and it was. We found a couple useful things there and were going to get out when we kept hearing footsteps from nearby. We both assume someone glitched into the wall, but people tend to do that to surprise and kill others and they never came out. It wasn't always the "inside" footfalls either. I had assumed a zombie respawn from the sound of footfalls in the dirt, but still no zombies outside and glitcher never came out of the wall. We basically ran from there.
