Incorrect, I know exactly what you are talking about and it does not concern the Topic and its intention.

The problem is that you have completely derailed the Topic with your own conception on how the Devs should communicate or how you wish them to communicate with YOU.

 

There are one thousand (1000) non registered people viewing the Forums at this time who would like perhaps, when regarding this Topic gather some feedback on the subject which concerns the Pending Changelog: Experimental Branch: 0.42.116002 and not your derailing and Off-Topic comments.

 

The Devs have chosen to communicate using different outlets including this Forum, as and when they esteem apt, I do not see that this will change in the future and that is fine and wise in my opinion.

 

Do not continue to post anything that is not relevant to the subject matter.

This applies to other members, not only yourself. 

 

Stay on Topic.

 

I still think it may be a good idea to lock and prune this thread of irrelevant posts, and have a separate thread for the actual discussion about the updates.

 

One thread where developers can post updates, and another thread where we can discuss them.

Saving money is my guess.

It's not simple to create a whole new engine without getting into more trouble later on.

I assume they knew what were the biggest problems with the old engine and thought it would be faster/cheaper to fix those problems rather than developing a new engine from scratch or licensing another one and learn to operate on that one.

You know what you end up with after trying to addapt an existing system to do something entirely different? A big ball of duct tape and no one wants to get their hands sticky.

I'd love to met the guy who did the comms code and thunderpunch him to the throat lol (must have been the YT guy)

 

Some bitch as stole my clothes, the servers are unplayable right now, still cannot go more than 100m before being ported back.

yeah I had that too then I got the red lettered message that the server couldn't find my char info and my char had been reset and that an administrator had been contacted and I would have to restart to join a server - I joined another server and sure enough I was at the beach.

 

oh sorry about all the ands

 

edit: ok my reset char was reset with the same red lettered message oh and I am trying to join the US servers of which there seem to be only half as many now

    Will Tent city be back to normal (Meaning having military loot inside the tents, one per tent) after this version is placed into Stable? Or is there another issue causeing it to remain broken?

yeah I just got booted from a US server and then none showed up in the list - maybe they are looking for our characters... one can only hope

More than just me actually have this conception and I alone certainly have not derailed the topic... that happened way long ago back on page 4 with all the whining about whys/whos/whats/whens "is it out yet?", "is it ready yet?", "when's it coming to stable", "this game sucks", etc... I certainly didn't cause 94 pages of irrelevant material.

But, I understand and will refrain from posting to this particular thread in the future.
