If I can suggest something, make ruined items usable in regular mode, and keep it how it is for hardcore

No, that will completely destroy hardcore servers.

Yes, if the following could be quick fixed I am more than happy to wait for the other stable updates

Systems: Players position was not saving on disconnect

Systems: Players could get continually stuck in a dead character during load from central server

Please, PLEASE, look into a Commorose system for gestures. It will be so easy to use if implemented and gesturing will happen less awkwardly with F keys.

How would it destroy hardcore? If anything it would hurt the regular servers

Because unfortunately most people playing this game right now after the publicity it took are casuals and would like to exploit everything. This is the same issue with 3pp:on servers. They can't keep up with hardcore mechanics and if they can make the game easier for them they will do it. 

It's like the dayz mod when servers with self bloodbag, no zombie hit bleeding and custom loadouts received huge popularity.

  • Crafting: Can repair clothes, weapons, and items using specialist items (such as sewing kit)

Gear: Configured sewing kit and its recipes

Gear: Added configuration for durable riders jacket

Gear: Added Cowboy hats to the loot spawns (multiple colors)

Weapons: Ballistic parameters of all projectiles tweaked for more realism (special thanks to Gews for his great analysis on weapon characteristics)

Hardcore/Regular difficulty should stay as it is now, On the other hand Third person is good overall for cosmetics ,what is the point of all items/cosmetics and customization of a character if you can't see it?

 

3RD person just needs some view adjustments that should not allow you to see over walls or around corners, thats all.

Personally, I would prefer that ruined ammunition could be chambered/loaded as usual. Big surprise would be with you pulled the trigger and just heard a "click". Maybe add a little smoke affect from the barrel. I can already hear the screams of panic...

Those "adjustment" are impossible without breaking 3rd person view in general. It will not be as handy as it is atm(everyone will complain).

I absolutely love the pace you are working at, i'll raise my beans to that.

 

However, when can we expect the Ak-47? I mean, from what I understand Chernarus is a post Soviet-Czech country and there are M4 rifles instead of the signature kalashnikov.

I think ruined shouldnt work and badly damaged have a 70% chance of working

lafeasd, do you not think there are other problems at the moment with higher priority than an ak ? you got the sks so play with that ;)

in my opinion the highest priority targets are the respawnable loot and zombies, because at the moment, dayz standalone is more a better wasteland than a really zombie surviving game, but for testing at the moment i think its cool.

but when the respawnable loot etc is comming the whole game will change, and than its really a day z ! ;)

my opinion correct me if you know something i dont know.
