Add no fall damage to known issues rocket

 

You realize there is a bug tracker to report issues like this correct? In fact, it's been reported there twice this morning. 

 

Sorry but when you post things like this here it sounds like a rude command. There is a place to report bugs, do it there. No offense man.

 

Just report it and post the link to the bug here so people can go upvote it  :)

This is probably the same issue I reported as http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=7958

 

Someone has claimed you get teleported to where you were 30s before logging off. It would kind of make sense.

 

I've been meaning to test this with deaths (i.e. what happens if you log off instantly after dying, or die during logoff timer), but never got around to it.

 

No it's different. You reported body re-positioning upon log out / log in and I reported items disappearing and rearranging themselves within the back pack upon log out / log in.

so sawing off a shotgun barrel reduces the spread.....??....this is wrong...

 

or is it just reduced from what it was in the previous patch....

It is reduced from previous patch, so the spread will be a bit tighter than it previously was.

Still game isnt running (at least like yesterday) tried different servers, the lagging continues ... nice, I won't be able to play the game like this. After every footstep he gaines giant laggs.

i hope i won't clip thru high buildings when im lagging and wont die anymore because its the only way i keep dieing now

After 30 Minutes of lagging, it's enough. I really believed in DEV Team to optimize performance from last stabil to experimental and it worked out fine (got no probs at experimental, not a single lag).

and now the same thing? come on men, really ... stop adding new guns and stuff and work on performance, guess a lot of people will share my opinion. 

 

 

EDIT: joined a experimental server - no problem at all. now explain plz.

Ghosting and loot hopping is still the same!

1) I could loot the airfield on a low populated server for 30 mins then instantly switch and repeat.

2) I could see a guy sniping on top of green mountain tower, I change server climb up the ladder, wait 5 mins, change back to previous server and shoot him in the back.

The wait timer should be progressive doubling the amount of time every time you switch server no matter how long you've been on a server, which resets back to 5mins every 4hrs. So as in the green mountain scenario it would take 15minutes to ghost. And server hopping just wouldn't be worth doing after you've switched server once or twice because the wait timer would get too long.

before patch: Change weapon = fist down, hotkey, fist up (you deserve a smooth running)

after patch: Change weapon = press hotkey (noob style for all free)

 

Comon rocket, don`t make it easy. I don`t like it. How to change a weapon was not wrong. Only the pistols part was bugged (you was forced to stay changing pistol).

If there was no lag on experimental, that would indicate that the lag issue on stable has to do with the individual servers. Seems like some are running fine, some are lagging.

I'm upstairs in a building with all the doors shut. I log off and a zombie walks through a fence and brick wall, and bites off my nuts through the floor. I would hope the zombie clipping issue would be fixed before adding log-off penalties.

Personally it makes it hard for me because I have young children and jumping up at night when one of them is crying potentially ruins hours of gaming. Combat logging sucks, I know. But so do magic zombies.

Well, can someone confirm:

If you press esc during 5 minutes of server-hopping-countdown you can see the location you are spawning accept other players who can kill me?

Are they able to see me? Just a asking, would be interesting.

 

I'm testing different servers now, will update post if tested.

I don't think so, although I had a fresh spawn before patch, was in same place etc, plus guy earlier unable to take off the sack on head that he had pre patch

Wow this build is so screwy. I can't believe this was pushed to stable. Now we have permanent stuffed message...not making things any easier. Guess we have to live with it for now but not really very impressive.

 

Also, what the hell have they done to the shadows? To clarify, shadows have gone back to being the way they were in the mod, noticeably glitchy at distance,blotchy and constantly moving. This was not there prior to this patch.

 

Rubber banding also seems to be back. No damage from falling (perhaps to counter-balance the fact ladders are glitchy?)....

 

All in all this patch is a step backwards. No fps gain either, despite what the patch notes say, quite the opposite.

 

Fix those damn shadows and especially the stuffed stomach bug, please.

Player bodies disappearing bug was back, after i kill them the bodies disappearing within 1 minute I guess they just logged out.

Just one example to make a point, dude. I guess I could blame my wife or my bladder. And yes, I have kids and still game. After 8:30 when they are asleep. Not while they are awake like some lame parents.

Becouse most players on experimental servers are legit players.

 

And on stable servers many players run script programms or do artificial lag to use it to glitch inside walls, throguht buildings, duplicate items or to do 'desych fist'.

5-10 FPS increase, that's good. Also why do I gain 10 frames only from pressing esc, then when I leave the menu I lose it again? This is pre patch btw.

Not necessarily, if you ruin the food while killing, it is rendered unusable if I read right. There will be more holding people up, cuffing them and THEN execution, as most people will be dicks
