Question on that pond water edge, I had it transparent like in the screenshot at one stage but now cannot get it - only sharp ugly edge on the water, I have latest Nvidia and GTX760, any idea?

Funny you should ask that -- I had that issue when I was trying to take that picture! I'm on a GTX 750 Ti with the latest drivers as well and I wonder if that isn't something to do with it. Anyway, the fix is to open your settings file and change the value for shadow rendering distance. Worked perfectly for me, I just hadn't ever done it before so it took me a second to locate the correct file. I'll link to the instructions I used below; if you need more help shoot me a PM.

Sadly yes, it was like that on 0.56 and 0.57 experimental. I really thought this would have been fixed for the stable release, as it's already been at least 3-4 weeks since we first saw that.

 

 

On to the main topic: screenshots.

 

Some random shots of the recent stable 0.57 push.

Spawned on Skalisty island, and found a lot to start my journey. Weapon with ammo for it (Blaze95) canned food, plenty of swords and maces for the medieval enthusiast...
