I asked two questions yesterday and didn't get any answer. Probably because noone knows the answer but I'll try my chance one last time.

 

1) Does anyone know if radio stations/channels that will broadcast music will be in Alpha release?

 

2) Does anyone know if they fixed the night time lighting system that Dean mentioned in a previous interviews as "terrible" or something close to that. I haven't found anything regarding this anywhere but that interview.

1). Yes. The alpha release was stalled (afaik) at least until the radio stations were made functional.

2). Yes, also. But probably the fix will occur much later in the game development, and after the alpha release.

i too had a vision today!  ...a blurred one because i got wasted and woke up naked in my bed next to a black feather boa...could mean something but at the same time maybe nothing...

Dude, I have such a hangover this morning. For some reason after drinking a couple really strong beers (22oz bombers of Southern Tier Oat its like 12percent), I thought it would be a good idea to consume and entire bottle of Trader Joe's white wine. I know, what the hell is wrong with me? With every drink I took, I thought, god this is disgusting, which only made me chug it to get it down. The zen of drinking alone. Slow start to my day. 

 

Luckily I had some anti nausea medication left from my wisdom tooth extraction. Waiting on the stand alone is turning me into an alcoholic. I hope you're happy Rocket.

If you're interested in tort reform and the litigious nature of US culture. I highly recommend the documentary Hot Coffee. I think you'll be surprised. Big business has been waging an anti lawsuit campaign on the american public for decades. I'll just say this. I used to think the lady that sued McDonald's was wrong. When I realized that she was 85, received third degree burns all over her genitalia, initially only wanted McDonald's to cover the skin grafts as they had been warned about the temperature of their coffee, literally, thousands of times. She was forced to sue because they wouldn't cover ten grand in medical costs. Only then a jury of her peers (that's normal folks like you and I) decided to award her what they thought just, two days of McDonald's coffee profit. That documentary changed my tune. Really really interesting.

 

But to answer your question, yes I should sue Rocket personally for turning me into an alcoholic. Lambo here I come. I'm going to be smoking money cigars by the end of the month. I'll also own DayZ standalone. . . Bwahhahahahhhahahhahha!!!   Bwahahahhahahhahhaah!!!

If you're interested in tort reform and the litigious nature of US culture. I highly recommend the documentary Hot Coffee. I think you'll be surprised. Big business has been waging an anti lawsuit campaign on the american public for decades. I'll just say this. I used to think the lady that sued McDonald's was wrong. When I realized that she was 85, received third degree burns all over her genitalia, initially only wanted McDonald's to cover the skin grafts as they had been warned about the temperature of their coffee, literally, thousands of times. She was forced to sue because they wouldn't cover ten grand in medical costs. Only then a jury of her peers (that's normal folks like you and I) decided to award her what they thought just, two days of McDonald's coffee profit. That documentary changed my tune. Really really interesting.

I wish there were like, official screenshots to help set the mood. Call me a stickler for that kind of Press Release bullshit, it really does make me have that feeling in my stomach whenever I am playing. That's just me.

 

 

 

Also, can someone confirm whether or not the Infected will be slow or fast? I am hoping for the former since the major reasons why they were fast was because of limitations such as pathfinding and amount of undead in a given area. Now that there's going to be at least 10 times more Infected and much better pathing, maybe that quantity-over-quality zombie idea will work well? I don't know, I just enjoy slower zombies more since I come from the "WWZ" and "Walking Dead" type of folk. Yet again, TWD severely lack in numbers.

I recommend not playing Planetside 2 for anger management remedy. I waited an hour for an 8GB update, then logged on only to discover that the server lists were virtually empty. I ran out onto the battlefield, walked around for a bit, and a teammate started shooting me in the back. I panicked, turned around, took a couple shots, then realized it was a teammate and stopped. All of a sudden, I took a clip to the face by the guy.

My opinion on the zombies have always been, you CAN run away from them but once you run out of stamina they'll be able to catch up and you'd have to take care of them.
