Hicks_206 (DayZ) 4297 Posted December 23, 2016 Greetings Survivors! As many of you know, the elements in Chernarus can be a real threat. After going over feedback through the Official Feedback tracker, an issue that presented itself in one of our most recent builds pushed to Steam came to light. The team is currently aware of this, and while investigation is ongoing in regards to a potential hotfix (no promises here!) we wanted all of you whom are adventuring in the wilds of Chernarus to be aware. Many of the in-home stoves and fireplaces are currently not accepting deposits, and *some* of the open air structures are also not allowing users to light their fires. While you may experience issues "placing" a fireplace, you can drop it anywhere in the world. We've compiled a list of example structures that are perfectly safe to light your campfires and stoves inside of, while you're drying off from the rain. GaryWalnuts 1680 Posted December 23, 2016 You can light a fire under some of the bigger trees too, they can keep you dry if you're desperate but it may take effort to keep the fire lit as the wind may blow it out - so keep that flare nearby. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

joe1972 0 Posted December 27, 2016 (edited) some of them do as i have tried several i found few wont accept the fireplace like the 2 room cabin with a fireplace in the bedroom would'nt let me place one but the cabin with the fireplace in the main room does just fine. kopo79 426 Posted April 5, 2017 (edited) how often there is rain`? i think its very rare that there is rain....allways sunshine or fog. more rain and thunder. i mean,i checked something around 15 servers...maybe more....no rain.maybe in 12 sunshine and few just fog.
