Super_Duty 466 Posted August 3, 2015 I stumbled across well over a dozen yesterday in my travels, a marathon session on the same server no less. I only had to take one down though, little prick wouldn't leave me alone while searching for batteries. The rest I was able to swing wide of and let them be. They are few and far between, and, actually, on this newest build that just went up, I haven't seen a single one. Infected spawn servers have been offline since last week I thought? I don't think there are any in the current build though.
Tatanko 5591 Posted August 3, 2015 They need to push this to stable already ... Honestly they usually push incredibly buggy updates to stable but yet this one has been cooking for over a month now and I think it's ready . Really is a bummer that these game shows take priority over progressing the game :/ .58 is ready for stable stop fucking around !!!!It's ready now, I think. Barring anything new rearing it's ugly head, today's build is probably a release candidate (RC). To be fair though, I don't think GDC or RTX are hampering progress any. Most of the team is still chugging away, and I think it can be arranged for someone to push the button on Wednesday in the absence of Hicks and/or Eugen ;)
Super_Duty 466 Posted August 3, 2015 Odd, given the prediction that this build will be moving to Stable fairly soon, I would have suspected them to be in-game. I'd verify but, but there's a small dilemma. The bad news is that the server I play on is not, although I guess that means no one is stealing my stuff. Which is also good news I guess. I don't think there are any in the current build though.
Thurman Merman 726 Posted August 3, 2015 For no particular reason, I think I'll set up my new camp right here:
Super_Duty 466 Posted August 3, 2015 Thinking it's ready also. With the limited number of exp. servers running at the moment, server/game instance loads are high which is a good thing for final testing. It's ready now, I think. Thurman Merman 726 Posted August 3, 2015 OK, so if I tab away from the latest build, I can't tab back to it!!! Submitting bug report.I'm not having that problem now, but have had it intermittently throughout my DayZ experience. Assumed it was just some issue on my end. Thurman Merman 726 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) BTW, I'm not gonna be on much until later in the weeks, so that location on SC02 has all my stuff. Multiple car batteries, glowplug, hunters backpack, CR75 with multiple mags, fully kitted MP5, blaze with HS and ammo, all my clothes, boots with combat knife, food, medikit, etc. Everything a growing survivor needs. Super_Duty 466 Posted August 3, 2015 (edited) That's great, thanks, but you didn't mention whether you are leaving the blow up doll? creamycowboy 139 Posted August 3, 2015 I killed probably 10-15 infected yesterday. Ever since I died from hypothermia, I wear my raincoat 24/7. I didn't know that it keeps you completely dry ... which is awesome.
BleedoutBill 1636 Posted August 3, 2015 When I updated to Windows 10 on Wednesday, the first time I alt-tabbed out of the game and tried to alt-tab back in, the whole PC shut down :| (no blue screen, just straight of "off").Thanks for the feedback. I'm still running W8.1. I had no problems with any of the previous DayZ builds and had no Windows updates since the last DayZ build. The problem is chronic. The last time I tried to tab back into the game, DayZ rebooted.
BleedoutBill 1636 Posted August 3, 2015 the gorka tops are no longer "waterproof", mine was drenched after short time. don´t know if it is a feature or a bug (was in .58 last friday when i found it on prison island)What was it's condition? I ask because my gear will get wet in a damaged hunter's pack, but it will stay dry, or merely get damp in a pristine, or worn pack.
