No. The Status Report is merely talking about what is going to come in the future, not what is currently in 0.50.

Damn. Some nice stuff here but hotfixes are needed for things like water pumps/wells, as well as completely wacky inventory "weirdness" when it comes to drinking bottles, items in clothing on the ground, picking stuff up, etc.

 

The new hydration tweaks seem ... okkaaay for now, but crap due to the pumps not working. It's tolerable near the coast and such, but going north and west you don't find as many ponds and stuff.

 

It's hard to test the wear on items with all the Pristine stuff showing up. I'm a little put off by the footwear breaking down. I own hiking shoes, mil spec boots, heavy working boots... They don't self destruct after running 5KM through the woods. (It's nice duct tape fixes all, and I'm all for some "Red-Green" spirit here, but it's kinda unrealistic)

I like the all pristine bug. In fact it's my favourite bug of all time. No need to rush with the fix.

Another weird issue i encountered was that i can't close my tent anymore or unpitch it to move it even if nothing's left inside...

Any word on the loot respawn rate on persistent servers? Is it still screwed up?

Simply following a game that I have done since day one when it was just a early mod for Arma. I’ve been interested how Dean has taken the game forward from his early release. So I’ll keep on following the game and commenting especially on a thread I’ve every right to comment after reading through the change log. The new log was encouraging to read and I hope it makes the game more playable and enjoyable. 

 

I see some are experiencing invisiable Zombies and the wells/pumpsnot functioning. Looks like some servers hve had issues with Stream CDN so thay say.

   But lots of new guns and clothes to try. :)

You are like a sports commentator who never played the sport arguing with the people who actually play it. Enjoy your videos on your crap system, we will continue to thoroughly enjoy being a part of this great game being developed. Those of us who actually play it, are enjoying it very much...for only $30, best value of any game I have ever spent. You can't create greatness overnight, and true game development takes years. Your comments have nothing to do with the current discussion and I wouldn't be surprised if you are a troll from a different game.

-Zeds sounds over distance while aggro are good....But i don't know why most of the times ( Often ) If i'm getting aggro from the left i hear the sound from the right or viceversa. I'm turning to the wrong direction to get ready for the zombie, but then i realize he's coming from the opposite way.

If you're experiencing invisible zombies, or etc (Wells not functioning) Looks like some servers had issues with Steam CDN. Working on it.

So watching twitch game play since the mod never mind the standalone, so yeah I know the game. Although I don’t experience it first hand the Zombies hitting through walls, loosing things you place down disappearing etc are disappointing for the time in development. So I’m not going to follow a game or discuss it because I’m not yet playing – Aye right! Probably know the game more than most when I watch some of the top players.

 

Well while you are "following" this game and complaining about it (pretty amazing since you aren't playing it) I must point out that despite the many bugs the game has many of us, thousands really, are mostly having a blast by actually playing the game!!

Just noticed something... Is the ability to "add" things to extra clothing in your pack a new feature or has that been around for a while. Is clothing treated like a container now?

 

You get this option when an item can be either used or added to the backpack, make sense really!

i have also noticed this, but after it being mentioned i remember it happening before this patch too. i tried to vote it up but for some reason couldn't log in...will check it again later

yep, but 32 applications can be compiled with IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE and the process will be able to address 3 GB on Windows 32 and 4 GB on Windows 64. I think DayZ can pass this 2 GB limit and I have played for hours and I am almost sure there is no memory leak, but who knows...

Thats right. Had a look into the binary and its linked with the LAA flag. But memory allocation stops at the 2 GB border at least on my system. After I enabled my pagefile again, everything above 2 GB goes there.

I haven't been on stable in so long....

 

It seems like there are a lot less 1st Person servers than there were in the past. I'm forced to play on higher than optimal ping servers if I want 1st person; possibly resulting in less reliable hit detection, and which may be compounded by server related issues. :(

 

Some strange differences performance wise in this update from .50 when it was last on Experimental.

 

I get small freezes in the game more often it seems and I might have seen a small dip in performance in general.

 

It felt really weird to play my old 3rd Person character and see all his gear etc but I found myself saved in a nice locale up north where I can start skipping between newer towns/locations.

 

Upside down pickup trucks have loose piles of 7.62 under their beds and humvees have .45 ACP in the center console area.

 

I found a burnt out tank near the civilian airstrip that had 3 SKS on and around it.

Do you think you manage to find the DayZ Mod forums or shall i wait another day till you realize you're in the DayZ SA stable discussion thread?
