Pistol mags and the Makarov.

It would be nice if pistol mags could be slightly easier to find, even empty ones. I don't think I've found one yet.  Talking about pistols like the CR75, and 1911, and makarov.

 

The makarov IJ70 is useless, the .308's don't fit in it.

Which magic bullets do you use? Maybe it works with a magazine, couldn't agree with you since they're next to impossible to find. You can't chamber .308's into it.

Idk, I was playing today and found a cr75 mag and about 5 or 6 makarov mags, along with 3 actual makarovs.  They're around, just gotta look.  Also, makarov mags are kinda small, you really gotta keep your eyes peeled for em.

You are probably missing them. They are hard to spot sometimes and I have often found them by accident by running with inventory open.

I get sick every time I see a Makarov or mags for it. They are everywhere! Now if only I could find some CR75 mags :(

I've found one makarov mag, that was at a jailhouse building. I've found tonnes of different mags at firestations, but never makarov mags. And yeah, there seems to be a bug with the makarov, because you can't chamber bullets in it, only mags works.

 

Pistol mags definitely needs to spawn at more civilian places, or even better inside the pistol (but empty), they should not be military exclusive.

The jail buildings are always good for weapons, ammo and marakov mags. There are a few of those buildings outside the main action areas.

Makarov mags are not that rare. But other ones are. It's easier to find drum mags for AKM than it is to find pistol mags. Same goes for snap loaders and mags for civilian rifles. Military loot heavily outweighs the civilian.

Jails and ATCs. I've found Makarovs and magazines there.

I've also found a Makarov on the top floor of those two story sandbag bunkers, right on the top of the wall at the top of the ladder.

I'll add to the spawn table. Run through the tents in NWAF. From my experience you will find nothing but food/civilian clothing/makarov&mags. This is on persistent servers though.

I got 3 drum mags. But still no magazine for my 45. Infact i've only actually found 1 pistol mag and it was for the makarov, which i didn't both to collect as I find harsh language more lethal than the makarov.

Of course if you run through balota or nwaf you'll find mags.

 

Mags need to be more common in civilian buildings..Limiting pistol mags to military makes no sense at all.

Makarov mags are the most common mags in my experience.

 

The real unicorns are MP5 mags, checked about 70 police stations and not a single mag. Never again...

 

When you find a MP5, just let it be. They are cursed at this moment.

In my last 2 play sessions I've found 3 makarovs, 5 makarov mags, 2 1911's along with 2 mags, 2 FNX mags, a cr75 and a mag for that as well.  Like was said, NWAF obviously, Jails, ATCs, Firehouses, etc. etc.  Makarov mags are also VERY small and really hard to see without inv open, almost as hard to see as snap loaders.
