I feel bad about this. We are on TeamSpeak, I am a fresh spawn (regular) and they are in the miltary base, pavlovo. They say that they see  2 persons who are geared. "I have a clear shot on them" "Shoot them".

 

..

 

They had a sporter and some other shitty weapons, vs their AKs and mosin.

 

They could have been friendly.

Generally people who Shoot others on Airstrips/Bases are infact not Bandits, they are just people who Kill on Sight.

People who are actual Bandits are few and far inbetween, so there is a big difference between the two.

 

I like interactions between people, so I will attempt to make contact over Direct comms after I have safeguarded myself from them seeing/shooting me before I speak to them.

 

If your more apt to be friendly towards people, I would recommend you find a group that shares your playstyle.

I don't feel sorry for those at the airfield. And everyone should expect other non-friendly players there. It's the only real pvp zone. I know there is many players that are server hopping at NWAF just looking for some real fights. Berezino/bambi killers are usually noobs/cod-players comapred to the guys at the airfield.

Yesterday, I ran into a little garage, about 5 minutes west of Cherno. I ran into there in order to build a fire and dry off, as it had just literally just stopped raining. Upon running in, I was then shot by a M4-wielding "badass" from outside the garage. He hit my legs (My leg is painful) and made me bleed, but sucked too much to cause any real damage.

 

Me: Hey, hey hey! Stop shooting, all I want to do is build a fire and dry off!"

 

1st Guy (Squeaker) : GET ON THE GROUND AND DROP YOUR GUN (I had a Blaze and a Magnum)

 

Me: No. When I do that, you will just shoot me. I am going to build a fire, and dry off. 

 

1st Guy: ...Alright, go ahead.

 

Me: Alright. BTW, why the fuck did you shoot me? I am all alone, and I don't have anything better than you.

 

2nd Guy (in fake Russian accent): Watch your mouth! My friend here is super marksman!

I joined a server today and the textures werent fully loaded.I had a 2 metres fall and broke my leg.In front of me there was a dead body.The guy had an SKS and a shotgun on him!Then a fresh spawn came,punched me and then put his hands in the air.I loaded some ammo at the shotgun and aimed at him.I let him live and he went upstairs.Once he comes down,he keeps punching me in the head,he was too close to me so I missed the shotgun shots.Your friend is right,KOS everyone ._.

You couldnt pay me to bandit at an airstrip. Often people come in force and have no issues shooting you for breathing. Airstrips, bases, Elektro and Cherno are all free fire zones. Saying or wishing something different won't change that.

Killing other geared players on sight is sometimes the intelligent thing to do, plain and simple. Sometimes it simply is not necessary, especially since you're playing with another person, and people will often become much more docile when they realize that attempting to fight multiple players who are coordinated is merely suicide with middlemen. 

 

Killing any geared player you see on sight regardless of the circumstances, while a valid playstyle, reduces the game to mindlessness. It's the risk of player interaction and the unadulterated blur of the friend/foe/neutral line that makes the game what it is.
