Finding lots of cool things but i hope the AI doesn't stay lifeless for to long. Yeh Eugen responded on Reddit about the zombies not doing anything, status effects not working, problems with shadows , water etc and said most of them are known, likely just an issue with mismatched data / not present on their internal build. blackberrygoo 1416 Posted September 9, 2014 4 things me and a friend noticed with this patch :1.) shadows are displaying very oddly like shapes of shadows covering certain areas of interiors ..2.) zombies don't aggro at all whatsoever :( .3.) hypothermia ALWAYS sets in after relogging lol it was hilarious me and a friend scrambling around for an axe and matches (found the matches then we both died lol ) and also status effects don't show , (status doesn't go away/ change for anything until relogging ) 4.) bodies seem to despawn (disappear) after taking any thing from them .. I took a compass from my dead friends (died of hypothermia) body and i left to go raid another building , he arrived 5 mins later with a new spawn he'd been running to his body with and it was already gone , it had onl been ten minutes since he died :( .Hope to see a hotfix soon but otherwise great work I love the balaclava and I can't wait to see all the other items !! :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It looks quite nice to be honest. But again the Brown and white baklava are the biggest highlights for me at the moment. IIvIIozzie 31 Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) Hypothermia needs hotfixed badly, along with the players status not updating until you re-log. Once I re-log and get the hypothermia status my character goes so blurry until I can't see, then falls over dead in under three minutes. Things others haven't mentioned: -Cattleprod appears to do same amount of damage as when you connect the 9v battery to it. Currently no on/off toggle option-In certain buildings the lighting glitches out and starts flashing on the screen like bright lightning strikes -Opening cans of food may cause the item to glitch once used. One way to fix this is to remove the item that the canned food is store in, ie pants. Place the storage item on the ground and put it back on your body to remove the empty canned food.- Not sure if this is intentional, sickle will open canned food but instantly ruin the item with 0% remaining.-If you die on a server and respawn your body might disappear immediately. I've run two my body twice and in under 10 minutes, could not find it any longer.-Jumping into water like ponds does not remove hyperthermia. Standing out in the rain will cause hypotherima however you may not see the "i am cold" notifications, you also will not be able to remove water from your clothing. They probably did this because the wanted us to playtest the new melee weapons, as splitting axe was the most commonly desired and used weapon in previous version of patch. The problem is, as you describe, very hard to build fires now. Edit: Found fireaxe under the stairs on bottom floor of the construction building, between polana and orlovets. The very cooperative test subjects (current exp zombies) didn't seem to care batteries or not. Maybe it's a different story with a player, didn't test that. Is there someone who'd be nice enough to explain this to me?Well, not just experimental really. People didn't have access to alpha and beta stage softwares a few years back. It's part of the process. All of us having access to these early stage development softwares slows down their creation process. Normally, an alpha is all part creating the game (animations, maps, textures, items, mechanics, etc.) while beta tries to fix all the bugs and glitches created in the process to finally make a complete game. Today, the devs need to make the alpha stable enough for us to play, thus the reason why we "understand" what implies to be part of the early access: interruptions of service are inevitable. The testing is all being done while they're creating the game. Those bugs are discovered only when the happen. Transferring part of the code from software used by developers to servers ready to welcome players in is somewhat not as easy as it seems. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jnjnll 1 Posted September 9, 2014 I made a fire and sit around the campfire in a sunny day wearing a wool jacket for a few minutes and tried relogging a few times, but I couldn't get rid of the "you are hypothermic" prompt. My friend is armed with a moisin with long range scope and the same amount of food and matches ,,, hypothermia go away please we don't want you lol !! Someone please post a fix if they find one cuz someone said on this thread that he couldn't warm up even with a fire :0 ! I don't wanna stay on stable forever ! Exclamation point !
