Haha and for everyone complaining new stuff is broken : that's what introducing new stuff does , the new things are usually always broken , it's not like they have 500,000 different pc models booted up and ready to experience all the problems that could happen with a new feature ... So lets stop being impatient , and realize mistakes happen (karmanovka not being added ) and go do something with our lives besides put down people who have done much more than you guys could ever dream of doing while complaining at your computers .So yeah, a game that has sold only 250k copies, updating fixing and adding through multiple patch's per month is making this lot look just what they are. Moves way to fast IMO, sure fully loaded M4 might move slow, but a pistol (which I use in buildings and towns usually) moves way to fast. Unrealistically fast for sure. I totally agree with this,the mouse movement even when turned right down in the games configure is still WAY to fastSo fast in fact I only played for around 5 minutes until I was fed up with it and that is after turning it down completely in game I am not going to start re-configuring my mouse on my Pc ...just to load a game to play!So with that I played a whole 5 minutes and shut down DayZ abd I will be over playing Altis life on Arma III until the mouse gets turned down at the very least! What is the reason for having to have such as fast mouse ?and so what the M4 slows you down,who constantely has an M4 in there hands ? Horrible,absolutely horrible mouse movement IMHOand I would never,ever be able to get use to it as I usually always turn the mouse down in ALL games I play because I like a slower moving mouse! Sorry,but this is one guy that is not even going to check out the new patch,when the new patch and mouse movement starts to make me sick to my stomach in less than 5 minutes of play...well it is unacceptable how these patches force people to play a game! 600 second timer ?this is acceptable to supposedly do something about server hoppers lolI rather put up with server hoppers and combat loggers and have NO TIMER !!! Servers laggy,switch have to wait 600 seconds lmaoget booted,600 sec. penaltyYa,punish the whole comunnity because of a few bad apples....that really makes sense Sorry,but as I mentioned I will be playing Altis life from now on and won't be checking much out on DayZ with 600 second timers,very unreal mouse movementand the fact that guys are being killed by the game for the server booting you etc. New towns that are not there,stuff implemented that dos not work correctly and on and on and onand the "it's Alpha" is getting really,really old! All this buying into a Alpha game,hopeing to become part of a game in early development to hopefully be a part of the way the game develops for a gratrifying end result...well.... IMHO this Alpha is giving any other future Alpha games a bad name because if this is what Alpha means I will never waist so much time again on a Alpha game ever againLet alone waist my money on it Let's see,since this all started,the main Character....went and climbed Mount Everest....now say's he is stepping down to go do something else....You people out there realize just how much it costs to climb Mount Everest :lol: I just feel like I have totally been suckered out of my money on this game,sorry fan boys but we ALL are entitled to an opinion! I like this idea, I certainly won't be taking advantage of those discharged rounds giving away your approximate location. :thumbsup: In all seriousness though, the best solution is still stealth, at least against server spawned zombies, use them as watchdogs if possible. Add 100 player servers to it and ouch, ill say the lighting effects are nice, all buildings accessible. But other than that, the fail is awfully strong in this team. Bring in the EPOCH boys, fire the losers. LOL. "The Epoch guys" are just using the basecode of our Devs as well, more specifically r4z0r49's DayZ-Code. Its a bit more difficult to zero in on a gun shot than it is to see five zombies chasing someone :P Not to mention the majority of players in my experience tend to flee when they hear shots. This feels like your commen generic cheap FPS-game now and NOT like simulating reality.Come on, carrying 30kg on you back and a heavy loaded rifle in your hand and then make a 180° within a tenth of a second without any impact on your orientation or weapon handling?The sluggish feeling before felt right because that's the way realitiy IS - we have stuff like inertia, gravity and orientation problems in real life. So I *sincerely* hope that the controls are being reverted back to the way before, otherwise - and I'm sure I speak for A LOT OF PEOPLE - I am not willing to play any longer. Geez, there are a MILLION things to be done about the game, but noooo, instead of fixing bugs etc. we take stuff that is perfectly fine and completely fu*k it up. I'm trying to take screenshots and since I don't know what the weather is like in a server until I join it, I'm being penalized 10 minutes each time I log in, don't like the weather, and decide to switch servers before I even move my player anywhere. I loved the new mouse controls when I tried them on experimental though. They'll take some getting used to but I felt like some clunkiness was taken out of the game. I think the first mistake for anyone is trusting any roadmap no matter who gives it. Any amount of issues can come up at any time that delay certain promised aspects of the game. And if you think the development team is incompetent then don't play the game, abandon it, play something else for a while until you approve of what they have to show. The endless amount of whining on these forums is useless, often times nonsensical, and it's unconstructive. People have been making the same complaints about the incompetence (broken promises, delayed releases) about this development team for well over a year (even back into the mod, remember artifacting?). If people bought the game with these same complaints already in place then it's their problem for ignoring other people's warnings. There are no excuses for the whining now. It's overdone. I don't mind the pace of development at all. I don't think the team is holding out on us. And if they felt like they were going too slowly or not producing quality results then they'd make the staff changes necessary to improve. I think improving mouse control and the network messaging is great. These are huge. As is physics. Finally getting that into the game is awesome and we'll obviously see the performance improve throughout the next little while. I think binoculars themselves are a big addition as far as gameplay goes. People are just looking for reasons to complain and seeing the same things written over and over and over and over again with the same incorrect information backing these opinions is just tiring. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I am currently trying to fix an issue that happened to my character (leg randomly broke in a room, and I can't get out) but I need to change servers a lot to fix it, but the stupid 400 - 600 second wait time is killing my patience. I can aim better if I take the optical sight off completely. WHY would I hold a sight 2 feet from my eye to aim with it? Now, when I "look down" the sight I can see the WHOLE GUN, with the sight in the middle distance. This is crazy. This is the same effect with any gunsight, iron sights or optical, on any gun, as far as I have found at present. But I guess most folk know - when you look down a gunsight you do NOT rest your CHIN against the butt end of the gun. Everyone knows that, right? This has to be the worst effect BI has employed in any of its weapon-related stuff up to the present. edit (thursday) : I have NOT tried all guns and sights - (the ACOG seems unchanged in fact) so after a day some seem ok; Definitely some ARE ridiculous.
