To put it simple, you are way more likely to find AK 47 than M4 and SKS and Mosin

As I just said, the two sources for that information are completely and utterly useless.

I love the fact that the community is full of people that are extremely knowledgeable about the topic of Firearms.. unlike most games that i have played, where the only suggestion i get is "AK-47".  I am greatly appreciative of your and the community's gratitude toward all of our handwork.  All i do is create the descriptions and organize them, but if i was not receiving any suggestions from the community, what would there be to make descriptions and organized categories out of?  Thank you for showing your gratitude my friend!  It really lifts my spirits up whenever i see appreciative community members.

Most likely yes, and i will agree to help you by adding it.  In the mod version there were about 5 variants of the AK-47 rifle, so i will encorporate some variants of it again.  And when i say variants i mean the AK-74, AK-74M, AKM, you know.  And you are certainly welcome my friend.

Damn and i just wanted the classic AK-47 to be in the game first just so i can look at it and see it's called AK-47 i think it's more classic AKM should be added aswell thought.

How about a tranquilizer gun/rifle, that you can load either with sedating or poisonous darts.

Interesting... Animal Control would of used these rifles and tranquilizer darts to sedate animals before the outbreak, but it is possible for a few of those rifles to still remain. It would make an excellent ranged weapon in case you are not wanting to kill the person you are shooting.

What about the M40 series of sniper rifle. It's the sniper rifle most used by the USMC. It's chambered it 7.62x51mm NATO and is bolt action.

The M82A2 - I know it's a .50 cal but it makes sense in chernarus. It's the most commonly used AM rifle in the US military and the marines would have used it in the war against the chedaki. Then they would have been used in quarantines and roadblocks after the infection. It wouldn't be overpowered If they made it handle like it does in ACE mod (with lots of recoil and low manuevrability).

Also the HK MP5 really should be in dayz. It is one of the most common SMGs and is used by numerous military, police and SF forces all over the world. It is versatile and could use the attachments system well. It is fully automatic, includes many variants and fires 9x19mm parabellum.

As for SMG's, I'd suggest the MP5A4 (Maybe even the MP5/10 if they felt like adding another caliber for whatever reason), PP-19 Bizon, and the PP-19-01 Vityaz. Maybe one of the older 7.62x25 PP SMG's if they wind up adding the TT-33 and 7.62x25 ammo. It's a definite stretch but... maybe a Borz?

RPG-7 - this has already been added to the list but I wanted to add that it should be reasonably common but horrendously inaccurate, with the warhead liable to spin off randomly on different directions.

M136 AT4 - this is a disposible 1 use launcher in service with the US armed forces. It should be more accurate but also more rare than the RPG.

They would make your sillouette larger and be heavy, to prevent them being overpowered.

The Barrett M82A2 .50 BMG Sniper Rifle i do have written down someplace, but i am not thinking of putting it down.  It would match the setting yes, but i plan on adding the KSVK and the OSV for right now, i will keep it in mind!
