Me and my squad got wiped today on the stable branch by a guy that TP'd next to each of us in  quick succession. We manage to sneak back to our gear, got on another server, only to be killed by a different TP hacker. They knew where we were even though we were in bushes. The Dev team needs to send out a wave of bans to make an example out of them.

Agreed, a good tell tale is if you kill a high kitted player that has no food and water items on them.  They are simply stacking kill gear and jumping around.  Its unfortunate that it occurs but in the fog of dayz alot of it can be misconceived.

 

That's what I run around with when I'm geared up and have no more space in my inventory. Just eating everything when I find it, as you can store energy in abundance. I admit that I try to carry a canteen though. What I think would be suspicious is a geared up player without anything to open cans :) and without medical items. Video proof can currently be a real problem, too. Might not be easy to figure out if you lost eyes on someone due to rubberbanding or teleporting, how ESP should be caught with video is not clear to me. Someone doing a Boba Fett jetpack thingy on you is a clear sign, but as I have seen that in combination with teleporting, you might not even see it. All of a sudden the player is gone and then, a mosin shot and you're dead.

If someone jumps to your location, it cannot be rubberbanding. Rubberbanding is being reset to a location one was before. That's why it's called rubberbanding. If there is also desync stuff that can result in players being "invisible" AND moving forward in a reasonable way, that fact needs to be confirmed. One thing to take into account here is that when you keep moving, someone with actual desync issues would have real troubel axing you. He would always hit where you were some time before. I had some real throuble axing zeds the day before yesterday because I was playing on a server that had a lot of desync issues. Practically all doors opened with a huge delay, item dragging took forever... . My timing was completely off, I was simply too late most of the time. So finding someone that jumps around like crazy and perfectly axes you should not be interpreted as a desync issue in such a case I think.

It's not a game, we've had a chance to pay (crowd- founding) to serve as test pilots and as " meat " to stress the engine and the servers for bugs and glitch to come forth and be found before the game is finished.

 

This so the dev´s will not be accused of " releasing the game too early," as was the case with all BF 's releases , for example. Nobody likes to pay dearly for a buggy game.

 

This method is not new or unique. But very effective at finding faults in the structure of the game.

 

This strategy is now destroyed by a horde of little kids rushing to, because they hear about that it is " cool " and because it " costs less " and not understanding what this is about.

 

They do not understand that they need to pedal around the ENTIRE game board and pry into every corner and to open all the doors so any errors are found ... maybe not always so fun ... but it is what it is all about. It will be fun even for kids, then when the game is finished.

 

Instead, the kids create their own little “game world“ encompassing only electro and Balota,with occasional visits to other military camps or airfields to quickly “gear 'up”, then quickly back to the East Coast to sabotage as many Fresh spawns as possible in the easiest way. (they THINK they are trolling) But they are just pathetic and tiring. They made a CoD corner ... small map and pew pew pew...

 

Then the need to acquire cheats is born, because they do not have the experience or skills and gets killed in every possible way (Z´s, glitches, rooftop´s and “bandits” = everyone that shoot them...) and even starts to cry over this in all the forums. (they even cry in forums over the fact that Steam or Battle eye banned them because of cheating?!?)

 

This results in that fewer mature players have the desire to be involved in the development of the game and they leave for now to other places... dayz mods or Rust.

 

So, what can we do guys? Well, just like in real life, you have to adapt and improvise.

 

Z's begins suddenly get supervision and ability to run fast as hell... adapt and improvise. Fun, exciting and easy. A challenge which makes it interesting to poke around with the new conditions.

 

All of a sudden the scene is flooding over its limits by mentally retarded kids who are excited to be able to torture their victims before they kill them. Adapt and improvise. Avoid becoming a victim, search strategies that make a mess of life for them. Create chaos around them and prevail.

 

Cheaters... well. What to say? Switch to and stick to the servers where you do not suffer cheaters and report.

If you have a server where no one log except 2-3 script kids so of course it gets too boring in the long run... maybe the server admin starts kicking cheaters?

TBH i havent seen any hackers yet in DayZ SA, but that dosent mean there are none. for a compare: ive been playing for a few weeks and havent came across any cheaters what i know of,  in the mod i came across cheaters several times each day. also you cant combat log in the SA like ya could in the mod

I think a lot of the teleport claims are actually severe lag. It's been getting pretty rough. The game will freeze for like 5 minutes then speed up to catch up.

I was watching a Streamer from work who happend upon a guy doing this..  Hes Killing a different instance of HIMSELF and looting the gear he wanted.. It looked as if he was creating 60 round mags.. I don't know if this is Hacking or Exploiting a way to avoid the rejoin timer..

Haha, pretty sure I've ran into this guy twice now on experimental. Both time's he's offered me shit before teleporting around or leading me to other distant survivors. At least he's not just killing everyone...lol.

We have their names, not sure on how to report them.

 

If you can't tell what's happening, look at the pile of bodies with the same loot. There's about 11?

So, I'm gonna quit playing / testing this game... that I both .. it seems that the dev team thinks that is more important to put a profanity filter that a proper anti hack system.

 

just one minute ago I was killed by a teleporting hacker on top of a building.. I saw him once.. I tough It was just my imagination... and 4 seconds later.. bam.. dead..
I instantly start cursing that piece of shit and... I got kicked out for the server...because of my language... oh yea... fucking great! this is the last game that I'll buy/support before lunching day.

 

Good luck to you all.. hope you wont get killed like me, almost each time by a hacker.

The dev team didn't do that, the server admin did. And it is a violation of the server hosting rules. Nothing will be done about it though because currently no real action is taken against admins who violate the rules, but it's not from the dev team but the guy who rents the server.

In person, I do recognize the issues early on in release and I understand black magic was out there, but I still have yet to have it happen to me.  In the mod I got plenty of it dumped in my face but not in the SA yet.  I'm also very inclined to think Hackusations unless there is any video proof.

Today I was playing on experimental and spawned on the coast, no worries. Eventually I ran towards Berezino to attempt to gear up.  While running through the apple orchards, got shot in the leg. "Oh well" I thought, I scanned around my surroundings and no one was near so i bandaged then suddenly another player appeared. He told me he shot me because he wanted to talk, then he repaired my leg. The second I stood up I attempted to knock him out since he shot me for absolutely no reason, so fair game. The instant I knocked him out he disappeared so I just made a dead sprint out of there. A few seconds later I heard him talking out of no where. I looked behind me and he was speeding towards me, practically skiing with his gun raised. He told me he was using glitches and asked why I betrayed a friendly player. Then proceeded to shoot me again in the leg.Then he offered to fix my leg again so I told him to screw off.  I was trying to pull Fraps up but he disappeared before I could start recording  <_<

 

So that was the first time I've encountered a hacker... But he was friendly and it seemed like he thought his friendliness justified his hacking. Hacking should never be justified by if you're "friendly" or not. 

 

Just cause, his name was "Yesus" and it was the DE experimental server.

So me and my buddy just experienced yet another death via cheats. It's getting a tad ridiculous, especially as it's just slowly getting worse every week. More and more people seem to be cheating as this time a month ago seeing someone using them was rare. Now it's a regular occurrence. Granted, we like to randomly PVP at airfields and around Elektro on our Regular characters, so we pretty much expect to die and have no qualms with it when it happens legitimately. But dying to precision shots taken at you while you're hiding in a room of a building and then all of a sudden seeing "You are dead" is getting pretty old. Add on top of that the kids teleporting around Elektro and Kamyshovo punching you to death, and you've got a pretty good reason to stop playing for a while.

 

I'm remaining hopeful that a ban wave hits soon, because as it currently stands it's pretty pointless to put time into a character unless you want to skulk around the northern woods avoiding everyone.
