Problematic 71 Posted January 21, 2014 I have a problem, ive selected the Opt for Beta thing and restarted Steam, but when i open DayZ and go on a server, i still have all my stuff and the usual servers are there, any help please? Would be much appreciated, and you get beans!Maybe try it without restarting Steam? That's how I managed it. Check your steam if the Opt for Beta option is still selected in the Beta Programs tab, maybe restarting Steam resets that option or something? Mos1ey 6301 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) de servers down Yeah, I was on one of the DE servers and it got really funky (couldn't open doors or drink from a water pump) a few minutes before it went down. Technical difficulties, I assume. Can someone tell me the purpose of the experimental servers? It is an alpha,just release the patch and move to the next. I bet some people will get sick of not being able to connect and revert to the stable build. It's hectic right now though... DropBearChick 1216 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) I was hoping to be tricky and use Australia's GMT+10 to my advantage and get on while everyone was at work or asleep but thanks to Australia's internet it keeps saying connection failed, gonna have to wait for AU servers or till they release the stable :( anyone got some good footage to watch of the experimental and were do I change my name? xoligy 8 Posted January 21, 2014 So not being able to get into one of the beta servers since launch i decided i would go on my original character, but wait whast this? I need to go thought the ballache of downloading the old patch! I wouldnt mind but, steams download is slow as hell even on 60mb (start... stop... start...stop) why not back up the old patch?
