so I see this under the section REMOVED so I know this is a stupid thing to ask but that measn it was removed from the game correct? - so if i havent updated is it still there?

* [REMOVED] - Matches can now run out (others later) 9% Chance. (at this time this is a random chance)

* [REMOVED] - Knife will now have a chance to go blunt causing it to give less food from gutting animals 9% chance(Blunt), 50% less food(Guting)

if this was to be in the game things like this need to have more options as in if my matches can run out I should be able to look and see how many are in there

if my Axe and Knife can go dull then there needs to be a way to sharpen them

and the blood bag thingie, I cant see a good reason why I cant apply this my self - make it a 1% chance that I will meee up and the player will bleed to death - a 10% chance that it will be done wrong resulting in either loss of more blood or just less blood all thgether

Not sure where that info came from but you need to read the hole changelog from page 1.

Can't wait to play with updates, I've been playing since November and this game gets better and better :D

I applaud the deeper survival aspect but feel I have to nitpick this decision also. As this is becoming as close to 'realistic' as a survival game can be, deciding that rabbits yield the most nutrition is a bad idea as any soldier / survival expert will tell you that rabbit meat offers the LEAST calories of all meat, and you can in fact starve to death eating rabbit meat. I can see a flood of armchair survivalists pouncing on this glaring error considering most of the game is based on factual accuracy...

You would have to be eating ONLY rabbit meat for several weeks to get protein poisoning, I am a semi-armchair survivalist and as long as you have some other intake of fat you will be fine. Rabbit meat is rather healthy due to the lack of fat content, considering most of the other food sources in the world are exceptionally high in fat I think this is a plausible scenario.

Then you have to consider how much detail do we go into? Should make players have to get a balanced diet?

That is still wrong :) correct would be "Eine Flasche mit abgekochtem Wasser" (m instead of n at the end of the 4th word)

Will do, think it's to do with zeds hitting vehicles actually.

The scripts.txt log file is nearly 1GB in size, slight problem there.

Either way the script restriction shouldn't be happening, drop me the logs and we can get cracking on sorting it.

but why call Zombies "Zeds" for short - wouldnt it make more sense to just call them "Z's"

This game is european in origin. Over there, "Z" is said "Zed" not "Zee". So in essence, they are calling them "Z's", just not your american version of "Z's".

It has to do with setFuel for some reason... I used 1 instead of 5 in the scripts.txt until a better fix is made.

I simply changed this line:

5 setFuel !"\"setFuel\"," !"z\addons\dayz_code\compile\local_setFuel.sqf" !"\"dayzSetFuel\""

to this:

1 setFuel !"\"setFuel\"," !"z\addons\dayz_code\compile\local_setFuel.sqf" !"\"dayzSetFuel\""

This is a much more detailed update than I had originally saw, so I welcome that and curious to how the changes will go. I'm all updated but now wait for servers to update their files as well.
