In fact it's because of these Youtubers that anyone has even heard of DayZ, it's never been advertised.I see what you're saying, personally, I found Sacreal before I stumbled on Rhino and found him to be far more palatable, but as you say, he's not for everyone - I guess I just don't go for the whole beach combing in an SUV looking for freshly spawned players to run over, can be a funny guy, but yeah. Reverie 175 Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) I've been introduced to DayZ a couple months ago by this youtuber called DevilDogGamer.He has more of a serious, military, type of gameplay, and in the first episodes it definitely felt like a running simulator (he didn't cut frequently back then).But the situations that this game provides, involving human interaction, is something that I've never seen in other game. Most of it is because of the arma 2 universe, the size and complexity of Chernarus, vehicles, weapons, animals, down to the very bushy environment that can be used as cover, and bends when you crawl leaving a trail, etc.I still remember one day I was watching an episode and in the game something flew by the screen. I thought "wtf is that?".... I then went back and paused the video and was amazed by what I saw: a bee! (or some other flying insect). I was several minutes amazed by the fact that a game with such a massive environment had such small details as a bee flying around the player. Playing since June watching since May... I built a PC just to play this game... I then bought 3 23" monitors to see better, I then replaced my laptop so I could have DayZDB up on the 32" tv.... Then I bought a second OA2 Key, Then BAF, Then PMC... I'm seriously in love... I'm beggging Pretty Please... I've prob. spent over $1,500 on this game lol... I made that map hanging on the wall... lovingly cut the edges off every printed page and taped them all together... it's going on pegboard so I can put colored pins in eventually... Please I'm sick NEED ACCESS lol. I have a youtube channel... no one cares about it lol but it's there... I am starting to edit together more and more videos... (some REALLY good one's to come had a scripter selling wares on our public server which I saw in the logs, Hopped on banned him and ran down to elektro to find automated helicopters shooting eachother and at the ground... crashing every couple of minutes... and nuclear wind/ash from the nuke he set off....
