Interesting that this reached chernarus.

While I researched the origin of this image I discovered another possibly amusing London Evening Standard article related to bananas:

This photo is (typically) a 'caption lead-in' to an article inside the paper; can anyone read the caption (anyone? ..<Whxbla's 'thxis' girl ?>) - guess I could clear it up if I went into it - but most probably the article it points to is either:

 

" Africa gets Hip" - the London Fashion Week spring collection 2002

or:

" Racial Adviser Blames Crime Rise on Black 'Moral Vacuum' "

It's a standard technique with these newspapers to mix and match headlines and bylines with juxtaposed unrelated photos to give you a first "impression" something's going on that isn't.

What do ya expect from journalism? - truth ?

I have an idea this is a lady called Sally Story from Kwa-Zulu Natal, or one of her models, but it's a first guess.. ie she could also be PA to designer Marcus Lupfer (but not in his style, right, he's kinda TopShop ?) or a fashion student from Glasgow, for instance..Note: A 25 year old fashion designer from 2002 will be 40 these days (so probably even more interesting..hmm, kids).

 

Pay me 3 days and I'll get you a good digital, pay me 14 days and I'll locate the original .raw or maybe the negative

(wooooo... pro photographer 2002, a negative might exist, right? );

I'd also go for the fashion designer side because of the lady's stance, and undergrad design students were present at that fashion event, showing their ideas (partying)

 

And doing 'design-studies' around London, year 2002 might later get you into graphics and games more easily than into Madonna's next tour-wardrobe. Maybe someone in BI should own up ? .. so who was studying fashion/art/design/graphics in London in 2002..? Glad to see you got out of that absolutely fabulous non-stop clubbing life and into a decent job (did ya mention it on your CV?)
