So I didn't know you could have the smersh vest/backpack combo and still wear the mountain backpack along with it? Wow lots of room now. When you make that combination the back pack for the Smersh becomes just like an ALICE butt pack. Yup! All of the backpacks sit at roughly the same height from the ground, they just extend different lengths upward. This means you can have a SMERSH vest with a backpack attached in combination with pretty much any normal backpack. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

How are you supposed to bring your tent, carry a spare tire and your backpack, truck batteries and all the other things a properly equipped survivor requires. Please do tell!!! And don't get me started on the fuel/jerry can First one of these for me btw... and yes, that is my dress on the floor. There's lots of that stuff that I would/could do even with the few supplies in game currently but I guess you have to draw the line somewhere. Just assembled a pristine plate carrier with all attachments, too. :(Ack..I haven't climbed anything except a hunting tower lately, due to some glitchyness. I've been having shit luck finding what I'm looking for at any given time since .58 dropped so I've just been being random until I find anything on my list. I had the only hunting backpack I've seen all .58 up until my fall and just last night found my second roll of wire to try the new fish trap. First roll of wire I found and lost in the fall far from the ocean. Have not seen a single glow plug and haven't seen a battery since the first wipe of .58. That considering I'm off work right now and been putting in allot of 10+ hour days all through .58. if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The dev team may not be aware of the current situation of barrels. Possibly nobody has tested it in the latest build on our side. I pust some stuff I don't care about in a barrel and will let you know if it's still there when I check again. Several servers in specific locations where items had previously been, just disappear after a restart. This also seems localized to specific locations and specific loot. It would be awesome to have more intricate MOLLE style vests, like the plate carrier, so that you could add extra pockets and equipment. I stopped around 40+kg (and I wasn't even close to done) when some schmuck started taking pot shots at me. I was just jogging across Chernarus, possibly enjoying some Blue Dream, chilling to Franklin's Tower, and some guy had to harsh my mellow. Ahem, the point being, that day (when stamina is affected by what you're carrying) can't come soon enough. It's nuts that I can sprint around the woods in full winter clothes, with helmet, pack, 1911, MP5, Blaze, truck batteries, cans of peaches, litres of water and all the other accoutrements of "survival" living.
