Bambi with broken legs

Ok just spawned, fell from a cliff, i have a broken leg and nothing tomake kindling with.  I do have 2 rags.  Is there a solution to this? cant even find a zombie to kill me.  Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated, As crawling and basically going nowhere really sux.

Are you near a forest? Crawl to it.

In a forest look at the ground and you get the option "search for kindling". Your hands must be empty.

Search until you find a stick and make your splint.

Or if there is a stony area you can search for stones and craft an improvised knife. Cut down a bush with the knife to get sticks.

Just that it was a derogatory term used by a "famous" youtuber who thinks he's a better player than everyone else.

Well he is pretty well known, and he probably is better than the vast majority of players. I tried CSGO. Never again.

I think if you have broken legs you should be able to have the respawn option, sometimes you will need to crawl for a lot of time and that is not fun.

its worthwhile trying to make it to a tree and search for Wooden Sticks - you can have fun

under any tree look at the ground and use the mousewheel to get the "search for sticks" option. then combine stick + rag = splint

 

No joke, all kinds of strange stuff can happen if you try to survive. Dont give up too soon.

I remember the old days where only morphine could fix broken legs.

Or when sticks were normal spawning items and couldn't be crafted.

Fun times. :D

Now it is almost too easy (:p) to fix broken bones as long as you have bandages, rags or duct tape.

Only morphine could fix broken legs? And that makes more sense to you then using sticks and rags??

Morphine is just a pain killer. Sticks and rags provide support. It makes more sense since morphine cannot provide any physical support. And morphine sticks are almost as rare as an extinct dinosaur. I'm glad the developers are smart.

I only said how it was before. In the early days of DayZ SA.

People were crawling for ages hoping to find help or a quick death.

Didn't say anything about whether this would make sense or not.

(It obviously didn't make sense. Still the devs made the decision to torture us like that for quite a while. Maybe you weren't on board at that time.)
