    Getting killed by bandits

The problem is that people are too coast fixated in DayZ. Everyone knows the coast is where you find people, so those who want to kill other players for fun will head to coastal towns meaning you are way more likely to get shot there. Most people that I have run in to inland have been friendly.

    Interesting, even surprising stats.

Well I was actually thinking in terms of something as different from DayZ as DayZ mod was from Arma 2.

I think we will see some really interesting mods once support is added. I don't think it is much of a stretch to imagine some awesome mod that brings a whole load of players in, much like DayZ did for Arma 2. I also think we will see a load of players returning as it becomes more feature complete. As I said before, I and presumably quite a few others are waiting on certain features before diving back into the game for extended periods.
  4. I haven't had much of an issue with it. Although strangely my dude has literally everything I could want, but I still have the pants I started out with, I literally haven't found any in the time it has taken to get fully geared with guns ammo and food.

DayZ SA Modding: A New Map

I'd really like to see a The Road esque mod where zombies are removed, loot is so rare that you shit yourself over a can of beans and we have to eat each other to survive.

    Interesting, even surprising stats.

Personally I will come back to playing far more regularly when I can maintain a persistent base that isn't going to vanish at server restarts etc.

    sizes in clothes and equipment

I don't see what it would add other than frustration. The amount of work it would take is not really worth the outcome

    New death effect

I like that the screen just goes black when you die. It adds a certain mystery, like when you hear a shot and before you can place it bam you're dead.
  9. Have you played at all this year? The zombies have improved a hell of a lot. Their numbers will presumably be increased once performance allows

    Timer distraction

Or what about walkie talkie taped to a mega phone. Not only could it distract zombies, it could also freak players out

    About PC

One way to save money would be to look at pre built systems to see what they have in them then source the components yourself, that way you won't have to pay for someone else's labour thus saving money

    Windows 10 Upgrade?

Seems to have worked. Also will it make a discernible difference to performance etc if I do a clean install rather than an upgrade? I did a clean install of Win 7 about a month ago when I got my SSD.

Kit to convert AK to bullpup

Looks cool but I gotta say no for the reasons stated by BigMike.

    A believable world

Yeah something along those lines but y'know more stuff to speculate on

    A believable world

I really hope they add loads of mysterious elements that build a believable world. What I want is something akin to the Mount Chiliad conspiracy of GTA V, something that is never explicitly explained by the developers, but a huge mystery or puzzle that players can piece together and wear tin-foil hats over on the forums. The sort of vague and interesting thing that can lead to lots of different theories and throw up red herrings etc.
