I play DayZ on XBox at the moment. My experience with DayZ on XBox is very good as far as performance goes. Most of the time, the game plays smoothly and with little lag. One thing I hope to see, are new maps for DayZ as a whole. So that those of us on console aren't just stuck with Livonia and Chernarus . Personally, I have yet to come across the updates on Livonia. I have yet to see the new buildings etc. that were added. Another issue, is that the loot on community servers is more balanced than official servers it seems. I watch streamers play DayZ on PC and their access to loot, weapons, etc is far superior to what I see on official servers. I understand that community servers can be adjusted. But, I think official servers should be just as good loot-wise as community servers. Sometimes, I spend hours running around just to find a knife. Anyway. DayZ is still my favorite game of all time. While other games come and go, I can see myself playing DayZ for as long as I like playing video games. I have yet to come across another game that allows you to play the game in as many ways as DayZ does. I look forward to what the devs will bring to DayZ. I'm here for the long run.

I've tried several times to enter an Experimental server on XBox that mostly ends up in failure. I was able to get in once a few days ago. The performance was not optimal to say the least. The worst part is that there are only three servers for the United States. And they mostly fail to load. I have to watch streamers play experimental DayZ on PC to see what it's like. Are the experimental servers being worked on? This is the first time playing DayZ on console where I've had issues getting online on Experimental servers.

I've heard that you can play a 2.0 version of DayZ on console through the Arma Reforger. I'm on XBox. Do I get the Arma Reforger for $29.99 to play the newer version of DayZ? Thanks in advance.

I was just on Day for XBox, and I had a long stick in my hand. I selected a knife in my inventory, pressed "B" to combine, and the only choice I got was SPLIT. No choice to Sharpen. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks in advance.

What about Barrington? Is that a community map too? I hope they make enough changes to Chernarus and Livonia to make a difference.

Maybe it's silly to ask, but are the new maps Bitterroot and Barrington coming to consoles? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance.

I saw a cool video on the new map called Bitterroot. From what I saw it's coming from DayZ development. Does that mean it will come to console as well? I sure hope so, Console needs more maps.

I'm not sure what the state of DayZ 1.19 is for consoles, but, DayZ just crashes if I go to the Official or Community server list. Anyone else experience this? Thanks in advance.

Yea, the staff levels are a big factor. But, in most other games that come with multiple maps, like Call of Duty, you wouldn't hear the end of it if that game was released with only two maps. So, I think it's pretty safe to say that more maps would help. It means more choices. And nothing makes gamers happier than having multiple choices. But, I understand that staff size is probably affecting development. At the moment though, it appears that the console version of the Experimental servers are not carrying the new Livonia map update. I hope that changes soon.

I was looking forward to checking out the new changes to Livonia in 1.19. But, I launched DayZ Experimental on my XBox Series S and saw just five or six official servers, none of which had Livonia. Is there a delay in the console version of 1.19?

It makes you wonder why the devs bothered creating a console version if they weren't planning to keep it paced with PC development. I think a lot more people would come to DayZ if the console version was solid and carried more maps than just Livonia and Chenarus.

I have been unable to join any servers at the moment. I keep getting "database errors". It's 7:37pm PST.

Maybe and old and obvious question. But, has anyone heard of any new maps coming to console for DayZ?

Someone on Twitch said that there was a new map for consoles called "Zagoria". Is that true, or just a rumor? Thanks in advance.
