This is Dayz. There's a surprising lack of zombies. Maybe most of them have already been killed off...

 

After 15 seconds if they haven't continued to shoot you in the head. You should be able to get back up as a zombie. Give me three minutes of zombie time before the world fades out and I can no longer control the movement of the zombie. Player zombies can only die from headshots in that three minutes.

After dying randomly yet again, I'm going to have to say I want to see a cause of death.

 

Was it the falling glitch? Maybe a server glitch? Maybe I was shot in secret?

 

Anyway, the devs don't really care about getting bugs out of the Alpha, so I doubt they would impliment something so simple to identify issues.

Easy.... if you're just walking in an open field and you suddenly get the black screen and the cause of death is because you fell to your death, or because a zombie ate you, you'll know it was desync or a bug

That's really the only reason I want to know why I have died, at this point. I've been in places where I just drop dead for no apparent reason. I want to know what caused my death.

I don't want it to display who killed me, or with what weapon, or a kill cam. Just something simple like.

"You fell to your death", or "you bled out", or "died of gunshot wound"

I want to a see a 180 shot of my character being killed in slow motion.  This way I should be able to see who it was that shot me in the back.

 

Really though I don't much care, I do like the idea of a counter though.

It's actually pretty much perfect the way it is. All I want in addition is an amount of time survived, as well as my longest amount of time survived. 

 

Dayz isn't the game for death animations, or kill cams. Just because it's in alpha doesn't mean some features aren't already finished.

i like the black screen with "you are dead" and i like the damage becuse its like "real life" its realistic i like it!
