"Shoot on site" is not proper English. It's not even "technically" correct. Perhaps if you're a photographer (We're having a shoot on the site today) it would make some sense but in any other context, it is entirely wrong. Of course you' re shooting on the site, it is where you are at. Where else would you do shooting? Off-site? But do you also shoot on sight or do you first make contact? That' s the whole point behind saying you " shoot on sight" to let people know you will shoot them when they are sighted. If you tell people that you will "shoot on site" they will just wonder " But will you also shoot on sight?" Or are you just going to limit yourself to starting gunfights on that particular site? How ambigious do you want it? If you want to let people know you will shoot trespassers, you write just that: "trespassers will be shot" which obviously means that you will be shooting on sight (and lol: shooting on site). I don't know the necessary terminology to explain it to you when it comes to the grammatical side of things but I'm sure you could find an English teacher who will on the web.

This game is terribly unoptimized at the moment, nothing but throwing raw processing power at it is going to help.

I wish people who "shoot on site" would learn how to spell "shoot on sight".

I do not recall the mod having very good controls either. Nor did ARMA 2. This guy sums up the way all these games responds to keyboard input: The controls are extremely clunky and they have been designed that way. They didn't 'accidentally' end up this clunky. I doubt these games will ever feature fluent FPS controls because somehow the developers think a game will be more realistic when the player has less control over his avatar. I recall trying to play the ARMA 2 tutorial where some gunplay is involved and I could barely get from one end of the town to another while I was fighting, it just felt like you're wading through a bathtub full of quick-hardening cement. It's not much better right now, especially not in tight spaces or when the game is laggy. Sure it's an alpha but like I said: these controls were designed to be clunky, it's not an alpha-bug and that's my problem with DayZ.

So the playing Adolf Hitler speeches, references to banging minors and sexually harassing other players is perfectly O.K with both Bohemia and the forum moderator team?
