Im not bothered by a wait, i stopped playing long ago. THe problem is that compared to other alphas out there of the same genre, with far less financial backing, and supposedly far less experienced teams, this is going less than slow, infact its utterly appalling. And just like the proverbial dean hall as*s kissers like you, people like me have every right to have our say.

We'll have to calmly wait until devs merge and test the new mesh for colisions. Only this will Fix the zombie problem. If it was me, I wouldn't release animals until having a working mesh. There are soooooo many complaints about everything in this forum that devs would get depressed and shoot themselves if they read it... No doubt!!!

I've died twice today to a speedhacker, the same one. First he killed my friend on the roof of the office building in Svet, then instantly teleported to me missed all his shots then speed hacked away to shoot me,  an earlier on we made him speedhack away from the factory south of Lumber Mi;/Berezinho and all the way north  to Svet, the hack detection system just isn't doing anything.

 

I'm finding lots of hacked ammo at the mo. Has anybody seen any word on what the developers are doing about the hackers in the game? Any dates as to when this might be rightfully removed from the game!

First of all the reason why they are going faster is cuz ; they are two completely different games bud , if you believe a crappy minecraft looking game that has a map the size of Cherno(and also only has 20 player servers MAX) is going to "best" dayz , well then you're in denial haha .. That game is only fun when you wanna make a quick barricaded house , theres no pvp an when there is its not fun at all ... honestly stop trying to show people that game dude cuz it's on a completely different spectrum than dayz and is nowhere near the potential dayz is,.

I think the crew behind project zomboid does the best job of keeping their customers informed. One short blog from a develeper every Monday without fail. Certainly more coherent than bits and pieces from reddit to twitter.

Very few who play or use to play DayZ post on these forums,very.... very.... few people compared to how many play or have bought the game!

So do not for a minute try and convey the amount of posts ,whether good or bad about the game is any indication how many play the game...

I don't play or try DayZ anymore,I'm tired of waisting my time running around chasing Beans and Gear in all the same old places.

This game wether you or anyone else will admit it is flawed and should be called the DayZ Grind because that is all that seems to happen...

Go through the grind of getting geared up just to get bored and go find some action to be eventually killed to have to do the whole DayZ Grind all over again!

 

Alpha,yes it has been Alpha for awhile now,and we get more content rather than bugs being fixed

game breaking patches,mouse so tweaked now you HAVE to turn it down....(must be tweaked for the KoS crowd as nobody would actually need that fast of movement other than serious KoS COD Kiddies!

I am having a great time playing Altis life now,so much to do and a great engine to do it on

I check out DayZ now and again,last patch I put a whole 3 times into it at around 5 minutes each for a total of 15 minutes playing and that was enough to wait for the next patch to check out lol

 

Quality over Quantity should be the mandate!

and mabye fix some well known bugs and glitches for a change rather than dishing out new content to impataint kids who are from the fast food generation who want everything now!

 

I really like DayZ SA,but by the time it is finished at the rate the DEV\s are working... everything else I think will have already left it behind IMHO

To be honest you will be lucky if you will build a fire place in two months on stable on this, at least that so called " crappy game" has a lead dev that gives a s*it and hasnt just taken a cash grab while the going has been good. But dont worry, ill be off, ill come back and read up at the end of the month, and when there is barely anything again added to stable ill just leave it to everyone else to voice their opinions. I wont even need to say a thing, because month after month it becomes more obvious that this is not going to be in beta at the start of 2015, will be lucky if its at the end of 2016 with these unproffesional money grabbing losers at the helm. Enjoy the wait, while they enjoy the millions.

Patience folks... it IS a virtue. All the folks that think the devs owe them anything... updates, time-tables or what not, you signed the dotted line that stated this game was a work in progress and if you thought it would be cool just to play it, not to buy it.

Well... I'm no fan of the last patch, that's for dang sure, but I'm not on here bitching like a little girl that had her icecream taken away. I would hope that there's some men left on this planet, that enjoy computer games and can actually step away from their PC a bit and say... "Ok... not happy about what happened and I'm not happy about how fast they're updating stuff. But... there ain't a DAMN THING I can do about it and it doesn't help matter ANY if I just bitch like a little girl... so, I'm gonna step back, and play a little Plague, Inc... kill a few billion people and come back in a month."

I don't like that the devs don't tell us about rolling updates being applied. Because then things are just a surprise and we can't account for issues properly on the feedback tracker then... I don't like that they simply won't post some progress notes on the dev blog... I don't like a lot of shit that's going on... but there's not a damn thing I can do about it. So, quit bitching like little entitled bitches and grow up. The only thing that you guys can change is how you choose to react (or NOT react) to events happening around you.

Apart from the unnecessary sexism, and the way you expressed yourself, I appreciate your post. I agree with the fact that somebody should just let go and not continuously complain over and over about the same things we are all aware of.

But, that said, we also agree with the fact that they are at least partially right in their complaints...so...let people do what they want to, as it should be.

As you said, we can't do anything about this situation, so neither complaining or not are useful.

Just ignore those who complain without beeing constructive, as I do, if they disappoint you...and go on with what you want to do here.

If you're condemning others for moaning then you're also condemning yourself, everyone has a right to complain, the progress at which we're seeing half assed updates that most of the stuff  'added' either isn't there, isn't noted, or isn't working. Complaining at people complaining makes you just as bad as them if not worse, a hypocrite. People have a right to moan as much as you're moaning about them moaning.

 

Yeah we signed the 'dottedline' but they also have a promise as game developers to please it's customers and Alpha testers, to add content and fix gamebreaking bugs (which so far still exist with infinite ammo stacks, speed hacks, ammo hacks, spawn hacks, infinite food and drink glitch, walking through walls and floors, spawning under the floor)

I'm sure that it has ben said and discussed maybe a ton of time but unfortunately, i did not read every post. Dayz team has made a lot of nice fix and stuff but let's talk about the good stuff...

 

I think the most important change that you guys could make would be:

 

1: Vehicle, i know its a really big job to do but at least having some bicycles somewhere... due to the very majority of people that kill on sight, restarting is a very big part of the game but, running for about an hour to go to the good spot for some loots can turn off for sure some gamers.

 

2. Zombies, leaving the fact that when they see you, you are stuck with them until you kill them... that's not a big deal. Zombies must have collision with walls and doors. The only safe spots for zombies are those above the ground where they can't reach you. This is very annoying.

 

You made a great job with this game, i enjoy playing it! Graphics are awesome! this is really the best survivor simulator! Keep up the good work, this will be one of the most complete game when done!

If there was no one complaining they would be developing even slower. They already have the money, so all we have left to get updates is the community which isn't working obviously. Bohemia only cares about the paycheck hence why there are like 2 programmers working on the game. Simpy another cash grab.

yes, this is what I was talking too. The countdown is starting from 99 not 200 like it used to be, and then I have to stay another minute or more in "Please Wait". During this time if you press Esc to go to menu, you are seeing the scene where you will have to spawn. If you wait, finally you start playing...
