DirtyWings 51 Posted April 21, 2014 Just start the bandits 3 miles into the ocean.. then I would be happy. :D If not then I guess ill have to keep sending em to hell.Love spawning and getting attacked right away with someone with an axe.. And if there was it would easily be exploitable. What's a bandit? A bandit is someone who will rob you to get your items, someone who would rather "commit a crime" to aquire new gear, then having to scavenge for it themselves.A bandit is NOT a KOS-nab though, keep that in mind, theres a giant difference, at least in my world.Banditry is about honor, think of it like a unwritten code, "the bandit code". *snip* Glad we sorted that out ;) @TopicEither everyone gets to pick a spawn point or noone does.Giving an unfair advantage to someone, because of a particular play style is just plain wrong tbh. I believe he just kinda mentioned it or had it as a bullet point, and didn't go into detail (they might not even use it, pretty sure the exact words were 'we're considering it') 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It was terrible in the mod and just facilitated people. It allowed the game to turn more into a pvp fest and put less emphasis on your characters life. Judging from KoSer behaviour almost every KoSer lives in a certain area and shoots from certain distances almost entirely with scoped rifles. If you take those factors and maybe some more to refine the labeling method you have your KoSer badge. :lol: It was terrible in the mod and just facilitated people. If the map is huge enough i think it's quite ok to spawn in a general area, Chernarus sized maps are just too small since in case of Chernarus you can get from the coast to any major location on the map within 15-20 minutes ( i made a couple of runs from Cherno/Elektro vicinity to Stary Sobor back in the days when we roled with a big group so i know it's achievable if you know which direction you have to take ).
