It has been a known issue for over 10 years...yes even OFP had that problem ( more details/more ai less frames ) even if not that severe. I wonder if they will ever solve that problem ( i think not because the problem has already been there for so long )

Exactly...but they wouldn't be infected like you and i would be if we got influenca..rather a really nasty infection like as an example World War Z were the infected weren't even afraid of leaping from the top of the wall when they overrun Israel. They are that kind of "not afraid of death zombies". Any predator has at least that much survival instinct that they don't attack anything stronger than themselves alone and of course the natural fear of fire every living creature with a conscious mind has.

You shouldn't be tabbing out of the game anyway....and come complaining about beeing eaten/beaten/shot/raped in the forums...

If you still had some sort of consiousness maybe..i doubt anything braindead would be afraid of anything. Think of them as really crazy people on some really nasty drugs. No fear no need for self preservation.

You'd have to hardcode chat or VON to LMB if you want to make these players communicate before firing. It's just another shooter to them..see somebody? Left click, left click....

Why suggest something when you don't mind the problem beeing continued on "bloodbath servers" in the end? Either pull it through or don't. The sugestion is bad because some people are too "stupid" to play, they are already punished with their own stupidity so you don't ahve to punish them more. A cooldown for the server you play on is ok to fake permadeath.

A vanilla GTX 580 should be enough to run DayZ on high settings. I doubt the specs will change a lot when the game has been optimized, it will never run on a PC with PS4 specs/price. Don't waste your money yet if you have a GPU that can run the game on 30fps without problems. A lot can change.

I doubt they will give you their server files to "try out" if you can set up a server since you are "public" in their eyes unelss you found a company which still makes the chance of them giving the files to you low since you are relatively new to the market and therefor you are a possible security gap.

I understand how your buddies feel but AI or PVE is not the same like in scripted storylines of certain shooters where you get more or less interaction because the script say so. You can't make AI adapt or interact to a player since in both cases a human is unpredictable to another human or AI but an AI is always predictable to a human and therefor a lot of tension is taken out of the game. I know a lot of players who "pwn" AI 24/7 and think they are good players and the moment they fight against another player who hasn't done anything else they get the ultimate buttkicking. That's one thing that belongs into the game and should not be removed, the only thing that is disturbing you as well as other players are those who think DayZ is just CoD with zombies in a larger scale. Future patches will show if they can weed those players out. Admins also have a saying in this by putting settings that prevent this kind of behaviour. But since every admin just wants to get the most players onto his server they will always cater to the ones who want to play CoD.

Those incidents would only happen at the beginning of the event...judging from the "aging" of the buildings i assume the lemmingtrail event is already over.

I guess if BIS made this game into a pay to win project they would earn millions from ppl who want faster loot.

I'm a sadistic soab who is a nobody IRL and has to compensate it in game by torturing and verbally raping people ( i don't even have the balls to do that IRL so i do it anonymously in game )

Might not be the case but they aren't overused yet...and since every zombie movie/series/game plays in the USA or some westernized tropical island ( Dead island :rolleyes: ) playing it in Chernarus/South Zagoria is a welcome change isn't it?

Yeah that's due to the weirdness factor of the engine...if you have a low end pc you might be able to play the game with low settings at 50fps, a better pc with medium settings with 50fps, a gaming pc at high settings with 50fps etc. but neither of the higher rigs will be able to get a significant fps increase when they go down one level with the overall details, there might be even no increase at all which is astounding.
