Katana67 2907 Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) Behold! Azov Battalion, formerly independent militia recently appropriated as a unit by the Ukrainian military. *The below image looks more Kosovo/Serbia/Yugoslavia-y than anything, still interesting though! I do call BS on this one though, probably some kinda airsoft connection going on... But who knows... EDIT - Found one with a likely RPC Fort Negev clone on something other than a display table. I found one with an RPC Fort Galatz clone in action, can't seem to find it now. Assorted! Edited April 23, 2015 by Katana67

stielhandgranate 480 Posted April 24, 2015 I like Azov's look.I really hope mulitcam OCP uniforms or a European equivalent comes in after MARPAT uniforms. Does the Ukrainian Negev use a non NATO round like their Tavor rifle?
stonecutter357 17 Posted April 24, 2015 I would like to see a bow and two sticks to rub together for fire, it's the first thing my dad taught me in surviving is how to make a fire. water fire shelter food.
Katana67 2907 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) Found them! Phew! Presumably an RPC Fort Galatz clone being used as a DMR by Azov Battalion, Ukraine. Also some neat AKs and RPKs. Plus this pro-Russian guy... Also, a Peshmerga pic dump. Proving that anti-materiel rifles are alive and well amongst irregular forces on today's battlefields. klesh 2423 Posted May 3, 2015 The neverending military stuff you guys keep posting all looks the same, and frankly looks no different than 90% of people you meet in full camo already. The other 9% are newspaws on their way to the barracks to get that camo, and the remaining 1% thats left walk around looking like regular people.
Nicko2580 398 Posted May 3, 2015 More crafted weapons:Knife + Tape + Sticks = Spear.Bat or Plank + nails = ClubSpraypaint/Gas canister + tape + matches/lighter = IEDAnimal hide + Animal sinew + sticks = bowFlint + Sticks = Improvised AxeOld school military sabers. Bayonets that work. More pistols (civ variants of all calibers) and civ weapons like rifles and shotguns, lots less military gear. I think military gear should be so hard to find that when you finally do spot that pristine MP5 or AK, it's like all your dreams have come true.
Whyherro123 2283 Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) Bolas Easy to use, easier to make, and effective on all animals from small game all the way up to large deer, people, and birds, the bola is a sadly-underappreciated survival weapon. It basically wraps around and trips up the target, allowing you to safely approach it and spear/club it to death. Sling Easy to make, hard to use, the sling is also an underappreciated survival weapon. You can make it from any type of cordage, and ammunition is EVERYWHERE (and already implemented in-game, in the form of "small stones"). It would actually have a longer range than the "improvised bow", but less lethality (at least, until a more advanced medical system is implemented, with internal bleeding and such). Essentially, it would break the limb of whatever it struck, barring a lucky headshot. Spear:(the above is knapped from glass) Also easy to make and easy to use. A solid spear thrust will kill every animal on the North American continent, and from what specimens we have seen in-game, Chernarus as well. Allows you to threaten at a distance, while remaining safe from attack in return (unless your enemy also has a spear!) gibonez 3633 Posted May 5, 2015 Though it has little to no chance of ever being added I would add the Russian 82mm mortar. Only on the condition that it be just as complex and hard to use as the real life weapon system. meaning the player must set up aiming stakes and use the stakes as aiming points, the player must set up charges on each and every mortar round, the player must set the fuze on every single mortar round, player must load each and every mortar round. The player must adjust the elevation and azimuth on the mortar, he must use a map, ruler and compass for rough aiming solutions, a protractor for more precise solutions but at the end of the day the player must rely on a forward observer for adjusting impacts on targets beyond visual distance. Pretty much bring a mortar into the game with every bit of complexity as the real thing in order to avoid abuse.

dvsilverwing 241 Posted May 15, 2015 I'd like to see some CBRN gear as well. I mean, we are talking about a virus or disease or whatever, here. It'd be nice to see something other than a Czech M10m, I mean the thing is basically made for tear gas and that's about it.
iGROCK 7 Posted May 15, 2015 The fact that you all want none stop military gear is what makes your ideas plain bad. If you want COD style weapons then please go play COD or ARMA series. The more high tech stuff is added the less immersive it's becoming.

Schweinsteiger 107 Posted May 15, 2015 Concernt T-shirts from the 70's and 80's. You remember, the ones where the sleeves come down to your elbows? That and some tan suede desert boots. Some jean jackets with inside pockets would be cool also.
