Funny thing about that, primates actually do wage war and have turf battles. Over resources. The same things we fight about. Sometimes, they seem to be doing it just for fun. Because they can.

Comparing us to animals is actually a really bad example in relation to your point; you see animals as pure and I agree. They are pure, they don't have evolved enough concepts to lie to themselves. Everything most animals do is for survival. And survival is cruel. Like when a mantis devours a humming bird. Alive.

I've just... I've just been through it personally to many times in my life to doubt it; when the chips are down and the masks come off? People are going to cannibalize each other for survival. They do it all the time. They do it for less. And they don't care what damage it does to everyone around them. And EVERYONE has a limit, a threshold for duress, that will lead them to that point.

And if I hadn't made it to that point during my time of crisis? I would literally be dead right now.

Simply too many CoD kiddies with their friends going around killing people as if this was GTA or Arma. I simply don't play this shit alpha anymore for the sole reason I'm tired of killing 3 people in a firefight then dieing to their 2 friends hiding in a bush while they magically talk telepathically with ventrillo or whatever CoD mic program these fucking PUSSY mechanic abusers use.

 

Then why did you buy the alpha if I may ask, you seem to have a rather low tolerance for the things that are inevitably going to happen in an alpha. The way the game is built steers the mentality of the players playing it. Yet the barking at Call of Duty isn't really all that useful, even if you meant it as an exaggeration. Ambushing people as bandits/hero hybrid, without going KoS has been very succesful these last few days. We would go to the coastal regions, and ambushed any players that were either in fewer numbers or weren't armed. If they would comply, we would give them some food or gear and we helped them get around. Of course if they didn't comply, we'd shoot them down.

 

From my experience there were plenty of people that were willing to listen, and some even enjoyed the fact that we went and interacted with them without killing them.

 

On topic:

 

Earlier today, our group of 3 were just overlooking Berezino, about to target practice on zombies(we weren't really looking for players). We suddenly see a zombie running towards the woods near us just as one of us wanted to take a shot at the zombie. We move closer to investigate, before we even know it 2 armed guys started shooting at our group. They were quick to die, only injuring one of us. It was just self-defense.

yes animals will kill for survival which at times means having turf wars (resources equals food means survival) im relating it to how killing is done in this game many paint it as survival but its not the resources on the person you killed are ruined (food cant be eaten now when it is ruined) the well they no longer loot and take what i need is not valid as they spawn as a fresh spawn again and have the same (usually greater needs as they hungry thirsty again) most kill for fun and thats fine if you find it fun just dont paint it as survival unless it actually is.( there shooting at you)

 

You also forget we are these animals but we learnt grouping was the best way for protection to improve you survival chances hence civilisation came about and one of the defining features of humanity as much as we may hate each other the moment there is a common great threat we group together to see it off, in this zed apoc that has 99% of the pop zeds i think you will find most people would group together to fight the thousands of zeds not each other ( there aint those zeds in game so we can happily kill each other....

 

EDIT this is a game KOS is fine you can play however its fun to you lol dont try use real reasons to kill unless they are real as they relate to the game... oh this is of topic still the op is a gutless turd as he makes out hard killing fresh spawns (fairly fresh) tells people to come take him on and doesnt post his server address he is just a troll and a douche...

Its when you've had such a small limited amount of DayZ experience like yourself, when you don't seem to understand, that being sneaky doesn't count for shit in this bad game when a group of 10 highschoolers on teamspeak are hidden and camping watching every entrance to some random city. You go into a building to loot, 1 of them with telepathy tells the entire group where you are without you hearing.

 

If they were going to rob you. That would be sweet. But they just Kos. Why this game is bad. No win situations like that 1 vs 10 because of badly designed game flaws.

I've had loads of arguments on the use of third party programs to communicate in game. Just showing a logical bullshit scenario brought on by its uses. And I've seen loads of counter arguments that mostly have to revolve around the laziness of the individual player. Fact is you can't whisper to 10 people across a city without being heard. I won't come back to these arguments since they are just opinionated and nothing ever changes.

At least with people like me out there, you have to always look over your shoulder! Trust no one! At first, I'll earn your trust, then I'll have you walk right through the lion's den where you'll be shot and killed.  Then your photo will end up on here :)
